I can't either. Aside from the chocolate cake from our favorite bakery, pie is my favorite dessert.
Fresh peach or strawberry Old fashioned cream, cherry, raspberry, custard, peanut butter...I could go on and on!

Oh gosh, I love pie. It's my favorite dessert. If I had to pick one, either banana cream or key lime. But I love them all.

Peanut butter mixed with sugar and cream cheese with a chocolate ganache on top. All on an oreo cookie crust.

My favorite is one that I almost never get to eat. It is Fresh Peach pie from Strawn's Eat Shop in Shreveport, LA. It is a refrigerated pie, not a cooked pie. I am not a fan of cooked fruit. It is only available when peaches are in season so only in the summer and I almost never get to Shreveport during the summer. Food Network did a top 10 pie shops one time and this shop was on the list.
Years ago, I went through cookbooks looking for refrigerator peach pie recipes. I could never find one that looked close but I eventually found 2 that if I used parts of one and parts of the other, I was able to get very close to a Strawn's peach pie. But, I didn't document the recipe so now I don't have it. LOL

Lemon Meringue, but only if it is my recipe (passed on from my mom). When made with super fresh eggs there is NOTHING better IMO.

My homemade apple pie is my favourite. I make it just like my Mom used to, and it is so popular in our family that I have actually baked one for a birthday gift for 2 sons-in-law and my stepson. DH always gets one for his birthday, too. However, if I want some, I have to just make one for no reason, because the guys don't share! LOL!

I love Mango Key Lime Pie from Publix, but I only get it once a year when I go to Florida. And as I don't know when or even if I will ever get to go back, then I might never have another one. And now I'm sad. Pie has made me sad! Strictly speaking, the lack of pie has made me sad.

Blueberry. But it's hard to get in restaurants. If not that, then Cherry. Amish restaurants have THE best pies. It's worth the drive to go to The Essenhaus Restaurant just for the pie. Alas, I can't leave my puppy dogs that long, so I've not had Blueberry pie since 2013. sigh.

My grandma's apple pie. She made the very best apple pies... I have tried over the years to buy apple pies that taste good but not once have I came across a pie that I would buy again.

It's impossible to choose just one. It's my favorite dessert.
I love Lemon Meringue (hugely prefer those with the lighter, less-sweet French meringue vs. Italian), Chocolate Cream, Banana Cream, Pumpkin, Blueberry, Apple, Cherry, etc., etc.

You could just eat the inside and not the pie shell right? I don't really like pastry (weird I know...see cake thread) but I do like pie filling. Whipped cream makes everything better.

Strawberry Rhubarb or fresh strawberry- the kind with that gel stuff around the strawberries and the gel stuff needs to be homemade, not that junk in the produce section.
