That is scary! I'm glad they finally realized you were on the wrong dose and hopefully the withdrawal will be short lived. I'm amazed the Nurse Practitioner let you go without at least checking some labs, etc. You've got my prayers, you have an awful lot on your plate

okay, that is horrible!! I know you said you want to just let it go and not stress over it, but if it was some sort of a medication error that happened at the hospital with the Rx, then I would think you should contact the hospital about it-- they need to keep records of those sorts of errors, I think, and while it was bad enough for you the way it happened, it could have been a LOT worse if they had given gave you the entirely wrong medication, or something like that. The hospital needs to know about the error, I think.

Prayers that you feel better. And agree, sounds like the pharmacy messed up, or the doctor wrote the prescription wrong.

What medication are we talking about? Dilantin heavy dose three times a day. Sorry I don't have dosage. Please say something positive! I have only heard negative. Jen

Ugh, that sounds horrible. How long did the dr say the symptoms would last? And why did the office not return your phone calls? I have a mass in my brain left from a sphenoid sinus infection. It took almost 18 months before I felt like myself. Be kind to yourself--brain healing is very tiring. Very. And crabby, too. Try to rest when you can. I was sleeping 16-18 hours a day and my dr thought that was wonderful. 3 days. I have no idea why they did not return my calls. They aren't the friendliest staff. The only thing I can think of besides them just not caring is that they looked up my file and the script said it wasn't going to run out. Thanks for sharing your story. Tired is my middle name. jen

Sorry this has happened. Is it possible that you can just lay in your bed, pull the blinds, and just rest? Maybe drinking lots of water will help flush out the old meds.
Wishing you a day of peace and no pain.
