This is my friend's lab puppy, Moose. He had his manhood snipped and when Jen brought him home he was running around like a crazy dog trying to jump in the pool so she gave him some doggy chill pills and put him in his crate. She came back a bit later and found this. I crack up every time I look at it. Oh Moose!

Cornish Rex cats... will have to look those up! (it looks like they have curly hair?) Yes! They do! They are also very quirky cats and have a completely different way of sitting, walking, playing, etc than other cats.

The beagle. The fat cat. The hamster. All we need is a bird. Or a reptile. (not a chance on both!)

Archie looking too cute as a kitty and how he is now. I love orange tabbies (see above) and have told DH if he's on board with another cat, it has to be an orange tabby.

aaacccckkk!! how cute they are, Patter!! stop posting photos of cute long-nosed puppies, darn it! Three Shelties in our house is just enough, but your pictures make me want another puppy!! Oh, come on join me with another puppy. You need to join the "Rough Collie" board on Facebook. Oh you would love seeing the photos of peoples dogs. There are so many people that have 5 or more rough collies. It is amazing, and they are SO gorgeous together. gillyp, Jasper is gorgeous! And KikiPea, love his name--Heinz 57. Perfect!

This is mine playing in the pool last week it's not too cold for them! It is for the humans we don't swim till we hit a 100 outside lol! But they don't care as long as they have their tennis balls! We have a dark bottom pool Sometimes it gets too warm but it's still not warm enough!

All three of our dogs are rescues. This is our big dog Riley. I haven't fixed the glowy eye thing yet, sorry. For a 50+ lb dog, she can curl herself up into a tiny ball Next up is Darcy, our most difficult baby, but a total sweetheart. She's a puppy mill rescue and was a pathetic little thing with giardia when we got her. She's all over that. But now on Prozac Our last acquisition is Oliver/Ollie. He loves to sleep and burrow under covers. And sit on people's chests-laps evidently aren't cuddly enough. Here are all three of them. The shoe thief is actually Ollie, but he planted the evidence near Riley!

@ilovecookies I love your babies. Love!!!!! Little guys are Boston's correct? Love that breed and the fact you rescued them is even better. Yes, they are Bostons I love Bostons (and other smooshy faced dogs) dearly. When DH and I got married, we got a Boston puppy (our first) and I fell hard for the breed. (We lost Austin in 2009, and it gutted me) They can be very difficult, and they're definitely not for everyone, but now, I just can't quit them! It took me a while to be ready for another Boston after losing Austin, so when the kids wanted another dog in the house, we went to the local shelter and found Riley. She's the smartest dog DH or I have ever had. Everything about her is amazing, except for her shedding. She puts up with so much from the Bosties and never ever loses it. She also takes really good care of them, since she's way smarter than they are! Darcy was a puppy in a puppy mill. She was one of the runts, and also had a permanent eye injury. She's a hot mess, but really is a sweetheart. She's very loving, but all her wiring is not quite right, hence the Prozac. (DH says there aren't enough forks in her family tree. could be true) We were supposed to stop at two, but then some friends of ours saw Ollie with a very small, underfunded local rescue at PetsMart one weekend, so they called us. DH was not a happy guy, but I talked him into going "just to look," and he came home with us that day I'd have more if I could, but we don't have the room (or the funds!) so I am under strict orders to stay away from all shelters, rescues, and pet stores. I'm doing my best to comply.

Here's our Carla:
ETA:
She has an eye disease called Pannis that is made worse by UV light. She is supposed to wear these Doggles when she goes outside, but she kept trying to push me in front of cars when we were walking. OK, she was really trying to get the goggles off and found rubbing her head on my leg was her preferred method. It really wasn't her fault that cars were passing at the time.

I've posted this one before, but this is our Lucy when she was about 6 months old. My avatar is Gracie the yellow lab mix when she was a puppy, but she's over 8 now and starting to slow way down.
