Sigh. Have been in a fight with SC “customer service.”
Does anyone have a M2M subscription and Is also reciving rewards discount?
I have documented that I got the discount in the past just by having M2M but they say NOW I don’t qualify...

You should qualify if you have a certain amount in purchases over a 12 month period or 12-24 consecutive months of subscriptions.

Did anyone read the December 30, 2018 blog post? That post will be the last post on the blog ever. I never go to their blog anymore or gallery now I sometimes still mourn the early days when there was so much inspiration. It’s a shell of what it used to be.

Ugh, I really hate how long it takes for kits to ship. I am usually really caught up on Project Life (although my other projects are usually behind...) because it is always the first project I work on and my favorite. I usually end up doing the first week or two of the month before my kit comes, which hadn't bothered me so much last year because I always had my AE kits which are on a way better timeline... e.g. the January themed products were released on the 15th of December and shipping shortly after that so I had them well before January started. But this year I want to use the monthly title cards that come in the studio calico kits and it's driving me crazy that I have to wait for my kit!! I ended up creating my Week 1 with other products I had from KP & AE and just left the title card spot empty and tried to match the colors from the online image. This is going to drive me crazy all year!!! Anyone else have this issue?

I really like a few of the cards in this month's DK and those navy max alphas. I really wish they'd sell the max alpha in all the colors. I would buy them ALL in a heartbeat! I don't like the embellishments or the stamp sets in the last three DK, so I unsubscribed. I cannot justify the cost for only using the cards and maybe the alphas...Lili Niclass just doesn't do it for me. I totally agree, they should follow the timeline like Ali Edwards and January kits should be sent in December if they plan to send title monthly embellishments or cards.

THANKS20 is the coupon code. You're welcome. And it works on albums and page protectors!!!! I know I shouldn’t support them, but 3 albums and 9 packs of pp are ordered! I did have fun filling out the survey. They will be fascinated to know my favorite shop for jewelry is Montgomery Wards. I buy my clothes at K-Mart and my favorite authors are PD Eastman and That Clever Lady Who Wrote Twilight.

You can get 20% everything in your cart vs just one thing.

mom It almost looks like she just adhered a white journal card or piece of cardstock over the top by the way the 'right now' chipboard is kind of smooshed over there on the side. That would make a strange cover though and I'd think it'd have a odd lip...does that make sense?

Or maybe IRL you just don't notice the weird lip? Maybe it doesn't bother her? Hmm.

Was curious if anyone knew how she did the cover for her mini? She cut the embossed cover in half and spray painted it. She also spray painted another piece of chipboard that was the same size as the half piece. She layered those two pieces on top of another piece of chipboard for more stability.

Since codes rarely work on page protectors, I submitted an order really wish they weren’t out of the 9x12 configuration I prefer. Oh well. I am curious why they’re the only company that does 9x12. They don’t have some legal reason why they’re the only ones right?

Why else wouldn't another company fill the market with a product that everyone wants, but SC can't manage to provide?

They don’t have some legal reason why they’re the only ones right? That is exactly why I ordered. I can’t recall the last time a coupon worked on them, I didn’t really expect it to work today, so I was pleasantly surprised. ETA. The last time I ordered pp was April 2018. That is quite a time between sales on those darn things. I am sure I would have gotten them since then if they had been on sale. I know there is zero logic behind their questions, but why in the world do they care where their customers buy jewelry and who our favorite authors are. Those are some seriously weird questions.

They don’t have some legal reason why they’re the only ones right? I highly doubt it. Even if they wanted to attempt the costly process of obtaining a patent, I don't think that a 9x12 album is patentable. It would have to be a novel idea and non-obvious. Albums have existed for a long time and in various sizes, cutting them to a slightly different size is not patentable. Even the divided page protector idea wasn't patentable. But, even if they had a patent, it would cover their entire binder design, so someone could just make a 9x12 3-ring binder and it wouldn't be a violation. My guess as to why other companies haven't done it is because of the high cost of producing new albums. People have asked for the size, but I'm not sure it's enough to sustain the volume of sales a company like American Crafts would be looking for. I also think companies are trying to get away from larger, heavier items because shipping costs keep going up. I think that's why we're seeing companies pushing things like traveler's notebooks and Citrus Twist coming out with their new small albums--these things are cheaper to ship--both to consumers and to their warehouses from the factory.

Just so you know, the chipboard is extremely thin. It's more like an embossed piece of kraft paper that's how thin it is. I was disappointed with that part, but the rest I love!

Thats a letdown! Yes, it totally needs a real chipboard backing to have it used as a cover. I decided to just use mine as another paper page inside an album.

I just pulled it out to look at it and wanted to point out that the back of it likely needs to be covered because the reverse of the embossing shows on the back because of the thinness. amidwestkingdom would it work as the first page of an album behind one of Jamaica's clear mini albums?

Very true. You make valid points, especially about the shipping.
