Welp, I decided to do 6x12 for 2019. I did it back in 2015 and thought it worked ok.
I know Heba Alsibai, Jamaica Edgell, and Lisa Varshine are all doing this size this year. So hopefully I'll have plenty of inspiration. I also never really thought of looking at 12x12 spreads for inspiration back in 2015, but it would totally work as well.
Just picked up two albums and a slew of page protectors. Hope it'll be enough for a good long time.

I think sometimes people think big dogs are male and small dogs (and cats) are female. When I was a little kid I thought that! Even though I had heard of tom cats, all our cats were female. And dogs were aggressive, so obviously they must be male. lol.

After going back and forth in my mind I have finally canceled my SC sub! I've been a subscriber since 2012, so it feels kind of strange. Although I've been disappointed many times, I always look forward to getting my kit every month..... I´t a little bit sad, but the kits seem to be more and more repetitive, and I just don't use them like I used to do. I'm keeping my Kelly Purkey sub, but feel that that kit also gets more and more repetitive. I live in Norway, and we don't have scrapbook stores here so I guess Blitzy will be getting all my money from now on. I'm not doing a regular project life album this year, I'm going for the Heidi Swapp memory keeping albums. I still feel a little sad, though....

Finally a documenter kit sneak, it seems like all they care about anymore is the TN kit. It’s super pink, but that’s expected for February. I’m trying to figure out the stamp, is it a pie chart? Everything so far seems rehashed, but useable. I don’t love it, but don’t hate it. I normally hate those sticker rolls, but these ones seem like nice designs. But also, are there 4 different types of flat stickers (5 if you count the alpha)? https://www.instagram.com/p/Bs55TvvojY9

I don't care for that kit at all but I am not a fan of pink.
It does make sense for a February kit though.

I don’t mind pink, but that is A LOT of pink.
I’ve found that I generally like the look of the kits, but I give away a TON of the components if I get them. They’re pretty but not usable for me, personally.

Too much cool pink for my liking. I can work with warmer hues like peach, soft coral, etc. Cool pinks, not so much. If they sell the tiny word stickers as a separate shop item, I might eventually pick them up. SC does tiny word sentiments well. There, I gave them a compliment. Don't make me do it again.

Eh, I don't mind all the pink since its February. Probably wont be my favorite kit though. I don't understand why it has small planner-like stamps in the DK though. Who needs tiny wine glass and a microscopic pizza in their DK?

Sigh looking forward to April when I can cancel
I didn’t really like January and not digging the peek for Feb. not really a fan of the monthly transparencies. I think I am finally ready to be done with SC for good. They don’t even have decent sales anymore.

I don't like pink mixed with red, esp hot pink. It's weird to me.

I didn’t really like January and not digging the peek for Feb. not really a fan of the monthly transparencies. I really liked January, but the embellishments are becoming too repetitive. I like the style and sentiments, but they need to switch it up and not use the same dies and items over and over. Like the large paper words in the Jan kit--I still have the ones from last time they used those. They are different words (this, shine and wonder) but the exact same coloring, font and style. I do like the transparencies, but a transparency doesn't really work for a Project Life title card because I don't want the backside of it shining through to the week before (especially January because then it would be on my title page!). So I am backing them with white cardstock and using a rolling date stamp to stamp the week's dates on the white cardstock where it pokes out under the monthly word. Hopefully this gives you inspiration to use the ones you have! I don't like pink mixed with red, esp hot pink. It's weird to me. I just don't like hot pink in general, especially in my scrapbook. It screams preteen girl to me. All the pinks, purples, reds they used don't seem to go together well either... it seems like they just assumed because they're all in the red/pink/purple color family they would look fine together. I'm hoping this sneak is misleading though and they just piled all the pink together and the rest of the kit will have more other colors. But honestly, I think this kit is in desperate need of some neutrals! I don't understand why it has small planner-like stamps in the DK though. Who needs tiny wine glass and a microscopic pizza in their DK? Maybe this stamp was already designed before they canceled their planner kit and needed to use it somewhere?

I know some people may like it because similar product keeps the look of their PL album’s consistent. I actually don’t do PL, I just use these product in my regular albums. I always love the chipboard though. I may be able to use the transparencies but just not my favorite design. Even if March and April are more to my taste, I will still probably cancel. Maybe do something like Wild Hare kits where there is no commitment and I can order whenever.

I kept asking for Documenter sneaks on IG and they never even respond. Yet if somebody mentions a heart or says they like a sneak they can comment. How about answer legit questions from people WANTING to buy your products??
I don't like all the mismatched pinks, the sloppy writing on the phrase stickers or what I can see of the stamp set. It's a shame that I like all the components of the TN kit but have zero use for a TN.

Still only a couple peeks of the Documenter Kit and now they have removed the "preview next month" page from their website. So unless you follow them on IG or FB you're not getting any peeks or any information from them. And there is way too much pink in the new kits. I know it's February, but there are other things people have going on besides Valentine's Day. It'd be nice to have a little winter/early spring thrown in the mix. It's also weird to me that the stamp set (which I really love) has nothing to do with the kits.
I really wish there was some consistency and enthusiasm for the kits from SC. I know it's wishful thinking on my part. Why can't they just rip the bandaid off already and kill the kits so April can focus on flipping houses and embarrassing her kids on social media.

I solved the mystery of why they haven’t shared documenter kit sneaks. Not sure why they aren’t remedying this by sharing more on the main account since they clearly have the products. As far as the sneaks page on their website, I commented on Instagram asking why there was all that spam/unrelated influencer stuff in the feed there. They said there was an error with the coding and removed the feed almost immediately so it just had a link to Instagram. Idk why it’s gone completely now, that was at least a week ago.

Maybe lots of people were asking and they finally decided they needed to address it? Or do you think I just got lucky with whoever was manning the account at that time?

So SC released their new cat/dog line (if you can call it that?).
2 stamp sets TN sized paper set 1 9x12 sized cat paper
I honestly do not understand this release. AT ALL.

I guess Citrus Twist and Cocoa Daisy better get ready for all the business they're going to get when SC goes under.

How could you forget the Label Stickers...just because they are colors they already have, just packaged together...they are officially labeled as part of the "collection"... All that hype for 2 stamps and paper most of us can't/won't use...

I don't like pink mixed with red, esp hot pink. It's weird to me. We had a clash day at school and I wore red pants with a hot pink shirt. My boss (male) said he thought they looked good together. This was 30 years ago and I still remember it thinking Waaaa?

I missed the 9x12 cat paper - was it a leftover from ABM? I noticed the actual new product was the two stamps, the TN paper, the labels, and then the rest of the “collection” is a bunch of crap from their shop that they haven’t been able to move (like all that color theory stuff). When I first opened it, I thought maybe I clicked on a wrong link since I didn’t see much of a “new” collection. Ugh.

They are Deja Vu and Lemon Zest. They aren't new.

So confused by them calling this a collection!? Why not just say they are releasing new pet stamps/TN papers? Why not release in on Feb 1 with the rest of the new kits? It would likely sell more if they stuck it there as add-ons.
I kinda like the cat stamp (my cat is in my SB a lot) but I can't get over "KITTEH" instead of "KITTEN." I get they're trying to be cute with pronunciation but it's awkward.
