Did SC change their zipper bags again? Yes, they are now clear plastic with a large white grid. They are also about 1/4 inch longer. Are they zippery and reusable like the other ones?

Scrolling through that close out category is depressing. How long do we have to endure merchandise that’s nearly three years old? I can’t imagine that all that letterpress ink isn’t dried out already!

http://instagram.com/p/Bt1wlnrDkpU I think I might pick up this month’s kit. I really like what I see so far. I wish some of the sticker sheets from the TN kit would be available individually as well.

I love those giant vellum numbers. Sure, it's the same font/size as previously released, but I don't mind. Damn you, SC!

It’s driving me crazy that they are so uneven with their sneaks. Last month it was all TN and stamp kit and no sneaks of the documenter kit for weeks. Now there are 6 or so sneaks of the documenter kit and not a single one of the stamp sub.

It looks very Kelly Purkey-ish.

I don't like how they only included the acetate shapes in the TN but not the DK (for the Feb release). I know people were harping on them for "double dipping" the embellishments, but they still did, just not on the part I think is worth it.
As for March... those damn vellum numbers, man.

Don't throw anything at me...
I don't TN but I loved February's kit so I clicked the join wait list in hopes I might get. Well today I received an email that I'm off the wait list and I will actually get the Confectionery Kit. I know I shouldn't be, BUT I'm really excited!

buy regular vellum and color with alcohol ink. Ah yes I'd forgotten you can color vellum with alcohol ink. I only have 3 inks though so wouldn't be a very cost effective way for me to get a range of colors.

Ok, so random question...
For those who used to be/are SC documenter kit subbers what kits would make your top 5 list? I would love to know as I've never been a subber.

Those are in my top 5 too (I would probably add Walden because those cards were just perfect for the fall).! I was surprised at how much I liked Lost River, it really felt like old school SC but with more updated designs.

Birds and the Bees is my all time favorite. In no particular order: Galileo, Far Far Away, Park Avenue, Odessey.

I just spent entirely too long scrolling through all the past SC kits and reminiscing. Man I miss the good old days of the kick ass, actual scrapbook kits and add ons!

Looking back on the past kits was fun!
My faves from when I subscribed: The Underground Wink Wink Oddessy
Lost River and Roman Holiday are my favorites of ones I picked up during sales
if they ever have a mega mondo sale, I would buy Expedition. I have the printable cards from a digi sale but I really love the chipboard.
