Yeah, I can hardly be bothered to look at their releases anymore. Same. Me either. None of it’s actually new, just stuff they bought in massive quantities and regurgitating the same kit over and over.

I never even go to their site anymore. April has driven the brand into the ground. Nothing exciting on offer.

I'm both shocked and not shocked at the super old stuff in the Past Kit sale. It's time to let go of the 2015 stuff by giving it away for free to subscribers, SC. Much less 2016-2018...

The amount of crap they still have piled up is just beyond me. Why are they still storing these kits from 2015? Dump it and move on already.

"Sale" is lame and totally Studio Calico. The Let's Go Scrapbook kit I bought for $5 is available. It might be my favorite kit ever, but no way will I pay $40 as much as I'd love to have another. I used every scrap of that kit.

Is this round 6928 of bring out the crap and try and sell it? I think it's time to give up SC.

http://instagr.am/p/BwWuu3zD088 The comments in this post highlight to me how messed up IG is, that folks post that this is a great sneak. I love this particular CT member but come on people, this is not a great sneak at all and not a particularly interesting use of product either. The time to delete my IG account and not look back is ticking ever closer. Grhhh.

I've been thinking for a long while, if there was a fire in my house, what stamps would I grab..and I realised there wasn't one single one. Yet again after another "sale" where I didn't purchase a thing, because the discount wasn't worth it and after the IG post above, I mulled over it... and I finally cancelled my stamp sub. I know that what I am expressing is nothing new and that many in this community have already done so, but I'm finally ready to get rid of the subs in my life. Not just my SC sub but all subs. I have a few months left with Ali and then those will be gone too.
I need to change my habits for good and spend my time & money in a way that brings me joy, rather than being locked into an endless cycle of purchasing product that as pretty as it is, I don't have a need for.
I thought about keeping my stamp sub and selling any that I don't have a need for (that good ole FOMO), but that's just another task that I would have to do. Looking back at the last 12 mths of SC stamps, the food stamp from IACB was the only one that filled a hole in my collection. There will always be another kit or another stamp or a pretty embellishment and its time to get off the endless travelator.
The lack of a community has really killed my desire to continue my relationship with any SB company. I intensely dislike Facebook and I have been steadily weaning myself off IG. When you aren't on any of those platforms, other than this site there really isn't much left.

I'm finally ready to get rid of the subs in my life. Not just my SC sub but all subs. Congratulations! This is a good thing. Sometimes, you need to press that reset button hard and let go of old habits to make room for some better ones. You will be free to spend your money when you really, really like something and create a different kind of budget for your crafting (and life). What I love most about being sub-free is that my brain no longer uses the monthly subscription price as the basis: zero is the basis and that's what I work up from. I'm very critical about my spending nowadays but I also have the luxury of feeling good about picking up a line or product that I'm crushing on real hard without feeling guilt or like it will impact my fun spend fund. One month-to-month stamp set that you feel is a must to add to your collection is always going to be a far better deal than 12 sub price sets of which over half don't add anything to your true documenting needs. Welcome to the club!

I can’t believe I’m considering ordering from SC, but to those that have the mega date stamp how’s the quality? I don’t want it for scrapbooking but I would like it for my classroom.

Yes it is enormous, heavy, and ridiculously hard to turn.... but I still love it and have no regrets 🤷🏻♀️ Now we know their quality control can be hit and miss at best, but mine (from the first batch) has no issues and stamps very well which cannot be said for the multitude of normal size roller stamps that I have.

Same here too. It’s big and really difficult (and painful) to turn. Elle’s Studio has a clear stamp set that gets you the same look (large date stamp) and is much easier to use, costs less, and isn’t SC. www.shopellesstudio.com/date-it-stamp.html?category_id=118(Elle’s also has a smaller version of that clear stamp).

That was an unexpected reset! I remember feeling like one month of "frozen" was hard (with subs still coming in the mail...) Now, subless (although I admit I just both both Ali physical kits this month- first month in about 6 or so) when I spend $45 on product, it is $45 dollars of product, and I compare it to what I would/could get at A Cherry on Top or what not- wayyyyyy different perspective. Not having the sub is "intentional product" lol And I don't miss a single thing I didn't buy.

I use a washcloth sized rag to help me turn the mega date stamp. It works great and my hands don't hurt. I can't give up that darned thing, lol.

I want the roller over clear because I’ll use it to quickly add the date on multiple things (like student artwork or quick progress monitoring items) and don’t want the hassle of putting together clear stamps-although that set looks awesome.
From the sound of it, I’ll order and then just be prepared that turning it is a bit difficult.
Thanks!

I feel like my hands are going to bleed whenever I turn it. So I use it very rarely. What a review! They should have to list possible side effects like the drug ads do. "May cause hand bleeding. Take precautions to avoid cutting your hands open on this stamp." smh

I bought the roller stamp when it came out. It is horrible. I paid full price for it, but ended up selling it below cost because I felt bad selling it to someone else,

Ok...shipping was ridiculous and I looked on Amazon and found one that I think will work better. Coincidently, Amazon has the SC mega roller and it would have been free shipping since I'm Prime.
