I'd be starting a convo. I doubt AF has shipped a single thing in the past 5 years. I was being sarcastic. I came here, complained, then received a shipping notice 30 minutes later. We all know a shipping notice doesn't mean anything I received the "Good news your order shipped on 04/21/19, blah blah blah" It was picked up from Bowling Green today!

peachiceteas I left ctk a few months ago. I am so glad I did because I got the first three kits this year and they were basically identical. And since then, they still look like a regurgitation each month. I’ve been subbing to cocoa daisy since March each month has a very distinct theme. But at the same time, the items that last awhile like washi, will coordinate over several months despite it being completely different on the whole. I felt guilty leaving Trina because she was super nice but at the end of the day her kits were just not inspiring me. I had no idea you had jumped ship but I haven’t been around much the last few months! I didn’t think I’d see the day you quit CTK. You’re totally right though, I’m not feeling inspired by them anymore either. I think I’ll get next months and then send my cancellation notice after my kit has shipped and look into other options.

Where can I find sneaks of the July kit? Lol.... Yeah... it's like a Where's Waldo situation. I think the only SC account sneak was the stamp sub? I can't even find the sneaks now that I'm trying to find them. :X

I am really loving the Documenter kit sneaks. The stamp is looking pretty great, too. Is it weird to say that I am kind of excited to see the entire release and maybe even purchase?

I really like the colors and some of the patterns on the sneaks so far also. I do think some of the icons will be difficult to use because they don't fit my life, but I will figure it out... I'm excited to see more.
I did decide to skip my stamp sub though. The sentiments are so basic that I already have stamps that say all of those things and I don't need a large tag stamp, I really don't see myself using it very often. I'm really trying to cut down on my craft spending and I have way too many supplies I could never use them all. I have a hard time bringing myself to ever skip the documenter kit though because of the monthly title cards... next year I really hope I don't love their monthly embellishment so I am free to skip.

I overlay them on another card, sometimes just plain white. I don’t want it showing through to the previous week, but I still love them!

Girls.. I scrapped today! I actually scrapped. For what must be the first time this year.
It was wonderful. I eliminated all distractions, all cares about perfection - reminding myself done is better than perfect - and by letting myself play and be free, I created some pretty spreads that I'm so happy with for my 6x8 2018 Christmas travel album.
Letting go is so, so freeing.

Damn it SC, you got me hook line and sinker with that national park stamp set.
£13 on a STAMP SET. This better be the best damn stamp set I’ve ever used!

I got the Documenter Kit 😞😞😞. Now I have to figure out if I want to go 6x12 or 9x12 for my summer PL project (I can’t decide- ahhh!). I want to add the page protectors to my box, so at least I can save on that shipping cost....
Also, does anyone remember the red, white, and blue sale last year where there was a coupon code for anything in those colors? The 6x8 blue cloth album was like $13-$14 shipped. Think they will do a similar sale this year?

Has there been any discussion about 3B page protectors being restocked? mrsshampoo when choosing.. remember the 3B page protectors are perpetually out of stock. Have fun doing a summer PL! That sounds like a fun project!

Damn it SC, you got me hook line and sinker with that national park stamp set. £13 on a STAMP SET. This better be the best damn stamp set I’ve ever used! Their monthly add-on stamp sets are keeping me active in this thread, I swear. No, it's all of you awesome ladies, let's be honest. Is this still our go-to "secret" chat thread? If so, BOY OH BOY, you know my mother AKA the Queen of let-me-get-myself-inadvertently-into-trouble? She has "found herself" fostering 9 4-week old puppies. Yes, NINE. American Staff puppies. I've been going back and forth even more to help out, sleeping on the couch, leaving very early in the morning to make it on time to my other life. I love doggies but this is some kind of circle of hell where your favourite thing is well within reach but just not a pleasure for 80% of the time. Dem jaws lock and dem shoulders boulder everyone and everything over, let me tell you. And well, I think maybe only two of those cray-cray pups are cool with not competing for being alpha? Not sure. What has my life become? At one point, I realised last weekend I hadn't showered or even freshened up in 24h. Save me. I love puppies but not 9 motherless ones 24/7. Mind you, once most of them are asleep, it's a portrait of pure happiness and cozy snuggles with the last ones awake (until one locks their jaw on my finger/my earlobe/my toe/my ankle).

OK on the SC site, under ttheee documenter kit there is a green paper pad in the photo, but not listed in the description. So is it really in the kit or did they just forget to add it to the description?

I like the color green they used, but altogether everything looks drab. They needed something with some contrast. The stamps are actually really good, but not good enough for me to order at full price.

April said in her stories that she designed this kit and all the kits to December so I am hoping this isn't a sneak at what's to come.

And what does she mean “she designed the kits”, did she do the artwork for the cards? Did she design the word stickers? We have seen the “ before, not much to design to them anyway. She certainly didn’t design the stamps. I do see her precious binder clips she gave birth to in the TN kit, but there certainly isn’t much designing she could have really contributed. That woman slays me.

If you're talking about the large 3x8 green rectangle in the photo with the 6 hole punch, I think it's the alphabet sticker sheet in the description. You can see it better in one of the close-up photos. Agree that it's hard to see!

And what does she mean “she designed the kits”, did she do the artwork for the cards? Did she design the word stickers? Excuse you, she picked the colour scheme and was all: "I want exotic leaves. Monstera, is that it? Yes, monstera, do monstera!"

I really like the cards, and the kit actually works out cheaper for me than citrus twist but there’s just nothing in it. I think every kit needs to come with some kind of dimensional embellishment whether it’s puffy stickers, chipboard etc. There is nothing in the new kit of real substance. But I really like the cards.

I wonder if it’s something left over from a planner kit? Just doesn’t look like it belongs in the kit.

I’ve never subscribed, only watched the drama from afar as everything exploded. No way in hell would I get sucked back in by subscribing if I’d been burned before. Buy a one off, sure. I’d eat the extra cost as a guarantee against getting sucked into shitty months.

The colors match, but the shape of the sheet and the added hole punch definitely make it seem out of place.
