Off topic of SC - but is there an easy way to find new pod casts to follow on Patreon? I've never even gone to the website but I am curious to find some new crafty people to follow and don't mind paying for it. Patreon is mostly the place you go to after finding a podcast you like if said podcast has mentioned you can support them through Patreon patronage, an after effect rather than a podcast search tool. It's open to content creators beyond podcasts as well (like Inkie Quill, Caylee Grey and others are doing). Maybe it's time a crafty podcast thread was started so we could regroup + review those that are out there? Ok, that's what I thought. One of the true crime podcasts I follow is on now on there and wasn't sure if there was a database to find others or not without searching them out on your own. Great idea about the thread - I want to support others who are doing great work.

Resurrecting this thread because SC have restocked some of their fan fave stamp sets including the nice 6x8 Bookish alpha set. I'd signed up to purchase it but it turns out I'm not in the mood to spend $29 on a stamp set right now. I went to Patreon and hit the $1/episode support button for a small podcast I follow instead. I think I've definitely turned a page (ha, paper pun!) when it comes to spending on scrappy stuff without thinking. But good on SC for bringing back sets that many of their customers have been wanting to purchase. Good for you for having the restraint I did not have restraint during the their last sale, and ordered some past kit components because I needed embellishments. Yup, got burned again. Missing part of my order, and no refund, no sorry, no mention of it at all. It is my third mess up with them in a row. Lesson learned. Was it in this thread that we talked about colored vellum or was it colored acetate/transparency?

I had asked about colored vellum (It was in the DD thread).

Most of them start as a thread for a specific podcast but others are also recommended. I know that Stacy Julian one was just bumped up recently. You should be able to search for podcast within your podcast player. Mine has a categories option and Scrappy ones fall under hobbies.

That’s what struck me, since the going rate at most sites is $24.99. Maybe it’s because these were part of the stamp sub, and that’s the month-to-month price?

I’ve turned down more than 1 stamp on their site due to the price. Just a tad too high. I can’t bring myself to spend that. I think all stamps ‘ship free’ so I guess shipping is added in? Still too pricey for my taste.

nicolep Dragging this thread back to the first page to tell you I searched my Tuesday Morning for those alphas you want and didn't locate them. I did, however, leave with over $70 of other stuff I didn't need, so I'll be billing you. Please send me your paypal info ASAP plz + thx. Apparently there are a few TM's around me, so if I do come across them, I will let you know!

Did we all notice they recycled the popular LLP fall leaf pack for this month's kits? Exact same design, slightly different colours.

I have a very similar set of them that I keep in my DD stuff. So they might be exactly the same, but close).

It all feels so desperate. Found the other set. I had bought them on clearance. So while they aren't exactly the same, they are close. Not sure the first one its so dang small. So click on it if you want to see them bigger. Wow, those are extremely close! SC are taking the recycle-reuse mindset to a whole other level...

Hello ladies, So anyone notice no plastic pouch with the Documenter Kit for October? Does anyone have any insight on this? I have been receiving this kit for over 5 years and have always received it in plastic pouch, why stop now?

It all feels so desperate. I think disinterested and insulting are the words you were looking for. How hard would it have been to make a new leaf design?

I have been receiving this kit for over 5 years and have always received it in plastic pouch, why stop now? My kit isn't here yet but I'll be super annoyed if there's no pouch. That is supposed to be part of the reason for the premium cost of their kits.

I don’t have a current sub, but I would definitely “start a conversation” with them if I didn’t get the kit in the pouch.

Of course you will get some nonsense response probably something about how your order was shipped on such and such date and no answer about why no pouch.

I just got my box and both of the Documenter and TN kits were in brown bags. I am irrationally annoyed about it. I checked my emails and their IG site and found no information about a change in packaging - either temporarily or permanently. I've started a conversation with them about it. I truly hate the "do it and ask forgiveness" way they do business. It's not hard to email your subscribers and keep them up to date. Unless you work at Inked.

I wonder if they're just trying to see how many people will actually ask about it and expect a resolution...

Was there at least a ziplock to prevent moisture damage if delivered in the rain?

Nope, no pouch with mine either. Just the thin paper bag inside the cardboard envelope.
I’m waiting til my November kit and then canceling. I haven’t been taking a lot of photos lately and will be doing December Daily. Time to give PL a rest.

So, I follow SC on IG... and their Stories pop up. I don't watch videos of people because it's usually annoying, but is it normal for someone to say "TN" instead of Traveler's Notebook when they're all excited about it? Is that a normal thing? You can't actually say the full two words, just the initials? I realize a lot of people like to shorten things, but if you're doing an IG Story? This is why I don't watch videos.

I tend to type TN, but I always say Travelers Notebook. It bugs me when I hear people say TN like really people are supposed to know what the f a TN is. 1/2 the time I say traverlers notebook and people ask if I'm talking about the covers.
