julie5, would you know how wide the spine is by any chance? I'm guessing it's 2.5 like the previous white ones? Are they the same material as the white ones? I'm still undecided because of intl shipping. As always, no description on the SC website. Any help is appreciated 😊 Yes they’re identical to the white ones with the 2.5 spine. I’ve bought them before and love them. Thank you Julie!

Kind of glad this is my last SC documenter Kit. It might appeal to some but I just don’t like it except a few of the cards. I promised myself I’d stop subbing in Dec and this is making it easy for me

I promised myself I’d stop subbing in Dec and this is making it easy for me I just went over to take a look, yeah, that is one blah kit. I like the family card and the sketch of the reindeer along with the golden puffy stickers, but everything else would get donated. I hate that font of the grey stickers, seems so high school letterman jacket to me. I don’t care for the stamp in the kit either and over all it is just so freaking drab again, and I can’t even begin to fathom why there is leopard print washi in a December DK.

Now, the stamp set I like. That is one I would like to pick up when it inevitably goes on sale.

I plan to keep my stamp sub and cancel the documenter kit as soon as this one ships. I got a little nostalgic this morning thinking about what new designs they will have for the new year/new monthly embellishments, but that quickly passed. The kits are just phoned in these days and the product quality (printing/card cutting/colors, etc.) has been going downhill lately again. I am excited to save the extra money each month to pick up some other brands' releases more frequently if I like them and use up some of my stash in the months that I don't (I will still have my AE subs, but I create enough to use those and more each month).

The December DK kit is ugly, IMO. I'm not a fan of mauve.

Did we talk about April being pregnant again? She told her kids over Thanksgiving. While I am not a fan of hers, I do hope she has a very uneventful pregnancy with no issues.

I haven't purchased anything from SC in ages (a year? two years?), but I'm doing more and more digital and for $1 each I bought several that I would never have purchased otherwise.

Just went and looked at the post. Her oldest is like...really... Hope she does have a smooth pregnancy. Can’t imagine it’s easy with the age gap or adding a 5th kid at this point. But women are having more kids later these days.

I was mostly surprised since her first two pregnancies were with IVF I believe. I think Kit was a surprise if I am remembering quickly. I too hope she has an uneventful pregnancy.

Not gonna lie, I get jealous of women getting pregnant later in life. I’m 42 and I would be a much better mother than I was at 22. But no more babies for me.

But would you be the mother you are today without that experience to shape you? Your son and daughter seem to be doing so well. You doing great Mama. Sometimes we have weather the hardest storms to become better on the other side.

There's no doubt you love your kids!! I am the opposite. I always wonder what it would have been like had I been a mother in my my 20's or 30's like I had thought I wanted. I was married for 14 years before I was divorced and we tried for many, many years. After my divorce I never thought I'd be a mother and I had accepted it and moved on. Then I met my SO 8 years ago and we now have a 4.5yr old. It's funny how life works. I'm 44 and I'm EXHAUSTED lol. So so tired all the time. Our little man keeps me going (because there's not a choice lol!) but admittedly I am still trying to adjust to putting someone else before me after 40 years of not really having too. I certainly don't mean that in a selfish way. It was just always my (ex)husband and I or just me. I am constantly trying to find more patience for the demand of it all but I DO KNOW that I am so so happy for having the chance to be a mother...even though sleep is something I look forward to way too much lol!

I was a single (accidental) teen mom struggling to get by financially and emotionally with practically no support. Now I am in my early 30s, happily married and have a comfortable combined 6 figure income, yet now I struggle with infertility. We have my teenager, who we both love dearly, but I wish I could go back in time and help a young struggling me out... I definitely didn't give my daughter the childhood I would be able to give her now. And it's so frustrating that now that I really have the means and want to be a mother again, I probably can't. But, life's not fair... and I'm grateful for what I have. I also wouldn't want to take away from what anyone else has, their fortune doesn't harm me... but it's still hard not feeling like it's not fair.

Hugs lasteve1. I went through infertility for many, many years and the heartache that comes with it. It never seemed fair.

Ah, April will have a reason to post inappropriate IG potty stories again... She's already had too many kids/couple in the West for this struggling planet but wishes for a healthy pregnancy nonetheless. Christmas is a tough time for non-mothers, too. With all the family gatherings, so many indelicate questions about the state of my womb, man. And not just from family but from people I don't even know who pop in like my SO's parents' neighbours and the likes. No, just no. Especially no to those telling me to *really* think about it because it'll be too late soon. That's the worst thing to say to a fertile childfree woman who is there out of choice (and no, childfree women aren't stuck in their selfish teenage years or something and not "getting" it). Don't go there. I'm resisting the urge to kick some old folks in the shins, I swear. It's disrespectful and incredibly patronising. Good luck to you, lasteve1. No need for me to be one of those annoying folks who tells you they know someone who was in a similar position but eventually got pregnant, etc.

I'm interested in buying the stamp set from the Greenwich Market TN kit. If anyone has it to sell, please PM me. Not in a rush for it and I'm sure it will be easy enough to pick this TN kit up at a discount at a later point, but thought I'd throw it out here! Thanks!

Well I guess you could say I got my missing zipper pouch from SC in my Black Friday sale box...but it is one of the old styles because it is housing a City Sidewalks documenter kit!!! I didn't order one, but it was in my box anyway so we'll call it good...
