For those of you looking to get stamp jackets that work with the SC ones. Avery has 4x6 vinyl ‘passport’ jackets that fit the old 4x6 SC stamps perfectly. I just had to trim a bit off the bottom of the white card because their old cards are long. The old SC cards are like 7” long I think, the new cards are probably smaller but I have no new SC 4x6 to compare. I only have new 3x4. I did not have to trim the width or trim the plastic at all.
The inside width of the vinyl pocket is 4 3/16 at the narrowest point ( where they sealed it wider as reinforcement at the top ) And the pocket is 6 1/4 high. I can post a picture later I forgot to take in this morning when I left
There are 10 in a pack for less than $6 on Amazon. I ordered in pack to see the inside dimensions since I could not find them anywhere irl to look at them.
My Feed your craft & Kelley Purkey Stamp’s need both the card and the plastic trimmed if I want to put them in these as their plastic is wider than 4 3/16 but it just blank plastic. The parts where the stamps are will fit in if I choose to trim them. I’m not sure yet.

I'm tempted to get this one with the SURVEY15 code because it looks very practical for my memory planner documenting (the Netflix 'N' *heart eyes*). Would love some feedback! sleepingbooty I don’t know if you ever bit the bullet on this but it’s turned up on aliexpress. link

I didn't bite the bullet back then and I'm happy I haven't... I'll be getting the set from AX as soon as another set I bought from that particular vendor is sent out (order still on hold and it's been several weeks but I think they're in the quarantine zone).

Did you ladies see that Christine recreated a take-out order ticket for journaling in her new set for SC? So cute and original!

Are they actually the same stamps? Like overruns swept off the factory floor or are the crappy knockoffs that don’t really work well?

I quoted the wrong post. Ignore the takeout stamp set. Was trying to respond to Oak Hill at AX.

They are knockoffs and the quality is definitely nowhere near what you'd get from SC. They're acrylic rather than photopolymer but I find they still stamp quite ok as long as I'm aware the stamps are spongier and don't press them down so hard they spread the image/text.

When it’s an identical dupe, it’s more likely that when they send the artwork to China to the factory to create the stamps, the artwork ends up in someone else’s hands. I can’t comment on the quality of the stamp but if it’s all being made in China, I imagine the use the same quality.

Like Chinagirl828 mentioned, it's a floppy acrylic that doesn't stick well. I wouldn't recommend AX knock-offs for stamp sets you plan to use regularly. It would be too much of a hassle. Otherwise, provided you pay attention and adjust your stamping technique, they're ok (not sure how they'll last, however). But I'm confident these do not come from the same factory at all. Re: the artwork, most stamp knock-offs on AX are actually created using online images (manual Photoshop clean-up when blowing up basic images found online, believe it or not). I do think that one vendor who's got SC sets might actually be purchasing the digital files from SC to create (most of) these. The SC ones are niche on AX, actually. Only one vendor so far has recent stuff so my guess is that's it a home business, not an actual factory order (they'd be all over the place otherwise).

The SC coffee stamp is on AliExpress - I’m tempted to grab it as I would have a use for it but I wouldn’t use it all the time. It would have to sit in a drawer away from my beautiful genuine stamps though....

Just make sure you test how hard to press with these on a piece of left-over cardstock first but the imprints are just fine! Embrace your sacrilegeous nature and put both in the same drawer! Maybe you'll accidentally invoke the Satan of stamping (Stampan?) by mixing them together. Exciting times ahead, my dear witch.

I have bought my share of SC knockoff stamps and ITA with sleepingbooty. I'll also add that I've found that if I lightly sand (yes, sand!) each stamp I get a crisp and clean image. I use my OLD Basic Grey sanding set but I'm sure a fine grit nail file would work well also. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks a lot for the intel! I feel less bad now about the $C stamps I’ve bought that I saw dupes of in AX! They have the book set that’s sold out on SC - the one with the little Reading Rainbow. I might try it out.

They have the San Francisco stamp on AX. I'm literally shook. sleepingbooty have you ever had any issues or concerns about checking out with Visa on AX? I am nervous about it, Paypal would be my preferred but not an option.

sleepingbooty have you ever had any issues or concerns about checking out with Visa on AX? I am nervous about it, Paypal would be my preferred but not an option. Never any issues. Alibaba is one of the leading groups in the world and that's who you're paying, using their payment system (some vendors take Paypal but since there are extra costs associated for both vendor and seller, not all do). However, for most of my Internet purchases I use a Visa card that I can just add money to but that can't be used to access my account. No stolen data issues with AX in several years of using the website (and I offer to purchase stuff with my account for my and my SO's family, even some friends, just like I do with my Amazon Prime so I probably have a total number of 200+ AX orders under my belt at this stage). ETA: Erm, I just checked my account... 300+ orders. Holy cow! It quickly adds up when you're everyone's AX gal! Cat and dog beds, hair ties, phone cases, dog leashes, keyrings, wedding décor, safety vests, embroidered patches, replacement ear pads for headphones, stamps, dies and SO MUCH MORE.

I love this month’s kits. I ended up adding the traveler’s notebook kit to my order, mainly for the stamp set! I also ordered the park stamp set. I have so many pictures of my kids at the park and I think this stamp set will get a lot of use.

If you all just want a good option for 3x4 stamps, I've been using these for years. I cut mine down by half an inch, but I'm really happy with them. They are the same thickness and material as the Checkout Store and Avery Elle ones, if not maybe a little less than perfect on the seams (not 100% straight). I've been using them for well over 2 years now and can highly recommend them.
They also fit (only just) in these fridgebinz. I bought mine for $7 or so at HomeGoods.
Thanks for the recommendation scrapaddict702 those bagsunlimited sleeves are great. I'm using them for my 4x6 stamps. I'm also cutting one down to get a 3 by 4 used for KP stamps. Then using my fuse, seal the cut off, to create a 2 by 3 for those small SC stamps. At that price for 100 - they are GREAT!!! No more Avery Elle for me! (except for 6 by 8). My only mistake was only ordering 100 , I should have got 2 packs!

Excited for them to arrive in approx. 50 days!

I've bought one of the SC knock off stamps from this seller and it works fine, a little spongey as expected with acrylic, but stamps perfectly well, even the solid background with white text stamps. My shipping took the full length of time in that estimated delivery window they provide, just as an FYI when you're eagerly stalking your mailbox.

That's nice to hear - I've had acrylic stamps from AC before (Shimelle / Amy Tan etc) which I use occasionally because they're so so. I'm figuring these ones will at least be on par with those I'm also completely familiar with the shipping times.... never ever buy anything from AX if I want it quickly!! Being in NZ, I tend to forget I've even made an order and then they seem to appear out of nowhere I reckon ole COVID will add even more delays into the mix.

AX definitely sells knock-offs, not using SC's files. In case anyone wants to know how you find out: click on the reviews and select the ones that have photos attached to them. Enlarge the photos and pay attention to the smaller sentiments. There is almost always use of font alternatives in the actual product shipped (they use SC's images for the listings) and even the occasional typo (capital L instead of I, a classic). This is due to them blowing up "free" images posted by the brands and cleaning these out so the files are the right amount of pixels required to get them printed as stamps. Smaller sentiments are lost in the process (not clean enough) so they try to find a similar-looking font on their computer or easily found out online and retype the phrase (hence typos). For the more recent SC stamp sets found on AX, here are some differences you can find provided you pay attention to the photos posted by actual customers in the reviews: (SC photo used by the AX vendor) (customer photo in the reviews) Can you see which fonts aren't the same? Did you notice the different in heart shape? This is how you know these people do NOT have SC's original files. (original SC photo used by AX vendor) (customer photo in the reviews) Fonts AND typo! If it's a stamp set you either really love, right down the exact fonts for all the sentiments, or one you know you're going to use frequently over the years, you may want to wait until SC has a special offer for X% off, just saying.

Damnit I bought that coffee stamp! It cost me pennies so it will be worth the try but I hadn’t really considered that they would look so different to the image on site.
Didn’t look at the reviews did I.
