Probably, sharlag! At least it was pre-smartphone days, so I wasn't looking down at my phone, too.

rainangel , I love your avatar! Mom had a gray Toy Poodle named Jiffy when I was younger. I found it on Instagram with the caption: Sheryl, christian, mom, hates rap, 5 kids And for some reason that just tickled my funnybone But it's a good-looking poodle for sure!

Let's see...pregnancy #1 I never actually threw up but I'd get SO nauseous. My cure was to much on French Onion Sunchips. I cannot get near them now. Also, 3 months after my first pregnancy, I began having major gallbladder issues and ended up having it removed. Doc said it's common in pregnancy. After pregnancy #2, I developed arthritis...docs said that the flux of hormones probably triggered it. I always figured I wouldn't survive after a 3rd pregnancy...so we stopped.

I pee all the freaking time! I have to go usually every hour. We drove to an amusement park about an hour from home a couple weeks ago. I stopped to go pee at a kwik shop about 15 min from the park. I didn't think I could make it through all the parking, entering the park and find a bathroom! My kids were all like mom this is ridiculous! I turned around and was like "this is all your fault, hush"!!!
They joke all the time about me not being able to hold my pee. I can't even do jumping jacks without almost peeing my pants!!!!

rainangel I agree that the caption was great. brandy327 I wasn't "LIKING" your arthritis, but rather the humor in your last sentence.

I used to get really bad menstrual cramps. After getting pregnant with my first, I had no cramps at all until 16 years later. Even then they weren't as bad but I was sorry to see them return!

I was in a hip hop class last night and forgot to empty my bladder beforehand. Ugg jumping jacks, many jumping jacks! Mine were very small, lol. I never had migraines and PMDD before my second. I got the PMDD mostly undercontrol with exercise and extended use of the pill. My migraines are hormonal so the above helps with them too but I still get them at other times randomly or if I'm over stressed or not getting enough sleep.

I used to drink my coffee black. I had wicked morning sickness all day long with DS, (my first) . I couldn't go near coffee or tea and a hundred other things. I wanted coffee after I had my DS and now I take it with cream!

My blood pressure went into normal range for the first time since I was a teenager. For the most part it still stays there, too. Great way to treat hypertension if you ask me.

Permanent motion sickness. It freaking sucks. I can barely stand to float on a raft in our pool this summer. Roller coasters are probably out of the question now too. My dad wants to go on a chartered fishing trip later this summer. I am going to have to buy some Dramamine or those wrist band things for sea sickness. I know I won't do well. I can't spin with my kids. I find that to be most upsetting about this. I loved twirling.

I lost my wavy hair. I had beautiful naturally wavy hair. I used to be able to run a brush through it and it was perfect. After my 2nd baby it all just went away. That was nine years ago. Now I have just enough curl in my hair for it to look messy and out of control.

I used to get lots of bad headaches, like migraines. Since having DD almost 15 years ago, I barely get them at all. I'm not complaining.

With my second child, I started having gagging issues while brushing my teeth. I still do, 19 years later. I even have problems with certain types of toothpaste that create a lot of foam. BLEH! OMG you are the first person I've ever known to have this issue too! I would barf whenever I brushed my teeth (thankfully it resolved after birth). I also barfed almost every morning in the shower. Good times.

I'm now banana, kiwi and avocado intolerant i used to like room temp water but now i want tons of ice. I grew boobs. I know people say they don't stay but i have hopes that they'll at least stay their empty size which is still bigger than prepregnancy. I was previously am AA but am probably a B. Engorged i was like a D which was fun to try on for a bit but I'm glad i don't have big boobs all the time! I guess I'm lucky that my feet grew but they went back to normal after about a year with my first. They seem to be about the same with my second who is almost 6 months now. It was probably just swelling.

I hardly ever have to shave my legs since my 2nd. That's pretty nice. And when I do, it's only just a little bit right on my shins.

Before my pregnancy I was pro choice, my body - my decision. Pregnancy changed that view for me. My definition of life and when it begins became tangible rather than abstract. I don't think that I have experienced anything as profound before or after.

42 years ago when I was pregnant with my first I ate a whole bag of nacho cheese Doritoes Let's just say they didn't sit right on my tummy . All these years later just the smell of them makes me want to barf To this day, the smell of the soap aisle makes me slightly nauseated. I had to go completely unscented when pregnant with my first because it made me so ill-and it never went away.

My hips widened by an inch and a half. I'm the same old bony gal I was before, but my hips are wider, like the bones themselves! I do have a thigh gap, but I always have, it's called being bowlegged. It did get bigger though.
I am still totally flummoxed a thigh gap is a "thing".
I was in the military and my dress uniform never fit after having my oldest, even though I am the same weight. It's too tight on my hips, can't be zipped. I wore it a few times as required for things with a safety pin holding the skirt closed because those suckers are pricey and I wore it so rarely I didn't want to spring for a new one. Everything else I owned was stretchy or cheap enough it made no difference, but the dress uniform skirt was a big, annoying loss. It's the only thing I owned that was tailored to exact measurements, and my hip measurements changed for good.
And my boobs used to be little but cute and perky, and now they are just gone. Gone. Like wrinkled baby socks gone. It's so depressing. I don't want a boob job, but I'd love a really awesome pair of fake boobs that looked realistic to put in a bra when the outfit requires it. Someone should make those. Since they don't, I wear a lot of flowy things...

I lost about half my hair afterwards. It's ok, I had a boatload of hair to start with, but I'd like some of that back at my crown if possible.

I lost my seasonal allergies after my first was born. I had stocked up on meds waiting for them to hit, and nothing. Still allergy free 15 years later. Lucky you. I gained seasonal allergies with my DS. I blame DH; he has the same seasonal allergy.

I can't drink orange or apple juice. I was able to eat spicy foods, now ketchup is too spicy!!! Just on the tongue. Had spring allergies, now they are in the fall.

My feet grew a shoe size.
I have chronic back issues, which is most likely due to my 4 pregnancies. The most weight I gained was 25 lbs and I only gained 15 with my last one. I wasn't overweight to begin with, either.
I lost a lot of hair and got a very sensitive/dry scalp after my last baby.

I went from wearing a 7.5 M shoe to a 8.5W. Yeah, WTH is that about?!?! I went up half a shoe size with each kid - luckily I only had 2 kids or else I'd have to wear men's shoes!! I was an 8.5 wide to start with, then up to a 9 after having DD, then up to a 9.5 after having DS. I'm only 5'3" and a bit, so I already had big feet for my height, now they are positively hobbit-like! The other thing is skin tags...... I developed them when I was pregnant with DD and they haven't gone away. Luckily the one I had on my eyelid went away, but the ones on my neck and under my arms are still there 18 years later. With my second child, I started having gagging issues while brushing my teeth. Now that you mention it, I have a feeling that my gagging while brushing my teeth also started when I was pregnant with DD. It's not so much the brush going too far down my throat, but the foamy toothpaste in my mouth.... I'm practically gagging even thinking about it! I was never like that before.

I had four very easy pregnancies and no morning sickness with any of them. And I was going to say I have absolutely no lasting effects, but...
I think maybe pregnancy IS to blame for this. My rib cage is definitely larger than in my twenties (I had my first son at age 30; my fourth at age 40). I never really associated it with a pregnancy aftereffect, but that does make sense.

I craved lime sherbet when I was pregnant. Now, I cannot even look at it or any other colorful ice cream product. How could I have eaten the slimy, unnatural greenish mess so often?

When I was pregnant I started being able to appreciate the flavor of vanilla. Before I was pregnant (28 years ago) vanilla was like a nonexistent "something". Now I appreciate the flavor a bit, but it still doesn't stand a chance against chocolate
