i have a cannon T3 DSLR, and i have been looking for a remote shutter control that will also start the video feature. i got one from Aputure (This product) that the amazon reviews/Q&A said would work, but either it doesn't, or i am really missing something. When in video mode, when i use the shutter remote, i get the "Still photo shooting is not possible in movie mode" error message.
i've been thru the instruction book which says absolutely nothing about video mode at all, which is leading me to believe this product does not do what i want it to at all.
so i guess my question is
A. Am i missing something in starting the video feature on a cannon T3 from a shutter remote?
or B. Is there a shutter remote that will do this, since mine apparently does not?
