The Fiskars Shapeboss and shape cutter. The embossing designs were a bit fuddy duddy for a 20 year old and it never gave a deep and crisp image, that cutter though I could never ever, ever get that thing to work. I still have all the templates in a folder and my kids love using them.
Cheap punches and deco scissors that couldn't handle cardstock, we scrapbookers all use cardstock so if you market a product to us make sure it can cut through Bazzill first.

I love Chatterbox and I love it a lot. I did not need gift sets in every colour they made. I also did not need Chatterbox ribbon which was horrible quality, ugly colours and doesn't lay flat even when ironed. Junk!
This n That frames and embellishments. Yes all 3 trillion of those. I have used what 1 or 2?
Rob and Bob anything!
Anything Heidi Swapp made for Advantus. I hate it all except for some red chipboard folk hearts. Those can stay. The rest is going.
Making Memories *everything* that wasn't a charm. I loved the charms and brads. I have them and like them. The rest is going. Don't need or want it.
Club Scrap *everything*. It is all going. Fortunately, I don't own too much of it. I do own enough, though.

The eyelet set that I HAD to have back in 2002. Had to. Got a HL gift card for Christmas that year and spent it all on the tools and a bunch of eyelets.

The old CM albums that weren't true 12X12, the papers you couldn't wallpaper with, the geometric and wavy borders and all those stickers. Oy vey.

I was thinking about this subject today. I don't really regret too much even though I cringe about some of the stuff I bought over the years. I just consider it a learning experience. You got buy the sucky stuff to know what you love. My biggest regret would be the folk art style I bought. I was creating things for a lot of people who love that style. I am not into folk art style. I never could use those things & I was always so uninspired. I hope I made somebody happy when I donated all that to the thrift store. They probably thought they hit the mother lode.

Heidi Swapp ghost alphabet letters: why did I buy these? Worse yet, why did I buy 2 packs of them? The letters are clear and the font is so large it takes a lot of page space and I have to ink them with alcohol inks just to be able to see the dang things. It took several days of altering and prep before I could use them. And fastening them to a LO? The only way is to staple them to the page. I really hate staples in my books. Even if it was done by that adorable tiny attacher thing. My gf loved the Coluzzle: I think she had to use a swivel exacto knife to get it to cut properly. I also regret spending over $200 for a full Sizzix serif alpha font. Used it one or two times and that was about it. I still cringe when I calculate the cost per use on that one. Ouch. And nylene, you have me laughing just thinking about footstomping on my punches to get a decent cut! I'll have to try that.
