New attachment set for the Kitchenaid! It is awesome. I love that it also has a peeler you can use or not.
The set is available at BBB and Kohl's - so you can use coupons and/or Kohl's Cash - in addition to Amazon, etc.

I bought this 3 weeks ago, I love it. I eat gluten free, so I love that I can make veggie noodles easily now.

OMG! I *need* this! It will replace my old Pampered Chef apple slicer thingy that I hate using. And the spiralizing? Awesome bonus!

Oh. $99 at Amazon. Will put it on my wish list. :-)
And "Kitchenaid spiralizer" as a search pulls it right up, in case anyone else needs to be enabled. :-P

This is a dilemma for me. I want to consume less, and already own the manual PC Apple peeler and Paderno Spiralizer. But my KitchenAid sits on counter all the time and this gadget would take up less space than the other two. I need space!!!!
Sigh. Frivolous, first world!

I want, I want! Super-excited to see a few peas already have and love theirs. I love that it does apples, too!

Well, damn, I'm pretty sure I need this. I put off buying a stand alone too, guess I know why now.

It is a fairly new attachment, which is why many people haven't seen it yet. I came across it while searching to buy the veggie strainer attachment to help, with my canning this summer. Since my family already loves veggie noodles, it was a no-brainier for me.
My stand alone apple peeler has already been dropped off at Good Will.

The set is available at BBB and Kohl's - so you can use coupons and/or Kohl's Cash - in addition to Amazon, etc. I looked at BBB and they don't have it in Canada ugh. I will go to the Bay at the mall and see if they carry it there. I suspect they don't, though. Has anyone bought it in Canada anywhere? I saw it on Amazon but that was Amazon.com not .ca I think... Still hunting!

I think I'm going to need to take a break from this board. You people are the worst bunch of enablers!!! My Paderno works just fine, but I feel like I really need this in my life!

Can you give the other two away to someone who really wants them? I guess donating to a thrift store would take care of that... as long as they don't go in the trash, it seems like a win/win.

It costs twice as much?? I can't even bring myself to spend $50 on the hand cranked device.

It costs twice as much?? I can't even bring myself to spend $50 on the hand cranked device. It probably isn't for you then! For people who already own a Kitchenaid (a $200+ device), want a spiralizer that easily stores in a drawer, and are also interested in a peeler, this may be of interest. For people with arthritis, that they don't have to crank anything to peel or spiralize, since the Kitchenaid powers the device, may well make it worth the $$. I use a spiralizer so much that I broke my first one and promptly bought another. And I have my Kitchenaid on my counter as it is, so this set was perfect for me. For others, it will be a great thing to put on birthday/Christmas wish lists. Kitchenaid stuff isn't cheap, unfortunately, but tends to be very well made.
