As for the PF, my doc took x-rays of my feet and saw heel spurs with tons of inflammation. He recommended stretches, ice, and meloxicam. That has not worked. He then ordered custom orthotics. I am still waiting for those to come in. And he added foot sleeves and splints for nighttime. Again, have been doing all of that, and nothing is working. My bursitis is now acting up in my hip because I am limping. I am usually a fast walker, and now I can barely walk. Would love ideas if y'all think there is something else to try. Second, I have read through everyone's messages. Such great info, and I thank you all! What does tumeric do? At this point I am ready to try anything. I turned 50 in June, and I have always been extremely healthy but since 50, I am truly falling apart. I am in tears. Tumeric is a natural anti-inflammatory. As for the Paleo diet, carbohydrates cause inflammation in a lot of people, especially if they have an autoimmune disease. I'm not saying that you do, but the extreme PF is one of the reasons I was checked for psoriatic arthritis. You seem to be having problems in a lot of joints, have you considered seeing a rheumatologist? I'm very sorry, chronic pin is absolutely miserable.

Sounds like you have done everything I have ever done. I'm sorry none of it is working for you. I wonder if you have something else going to cause all this pain and inflammation? I am curious about tumeric also. I don't know that I have ever had it. Does it come in pill form? I was thinking the same thing. Yes, I take it in pill form, get it on Amazon.

Thanks dewryce. I may need to look into a rheumatologist. Thanks for the suggestion. Man getting older stinks especially when your brain still feels about 32!

Patter, probably a good idea. It can't hurt anyway is the way I look at things like this. And if you do have arthritis, it may be inflammatory so the sooner that's discovered and treated the better. I was very lucky because I we didn't find any evidence of erosion in the areas we checked out. So if we can get the inflammation under control we can hopefully stop it from progressing. I feel your pain. I keep telling my husband I refuse to accept another diagnosis unless they take n old one back but my doctors aren't listening. Hope you are feeling better soon!

Hugs to you dewryce. Two of my daughters have lots of health issues. One has two of the top ten rarest health conditions. She says "Typical I get it." Poor thing. Anyway, I will have to find out if I need a referral. I will call first thing in the morning. Thanks again.

That is what I need to keep in mind, thank you. And LOL my husband and I have a similar saying. We just have to look at each other a certain way and know the other is thinking it. Why the eff not. I will be thinking about you and hope the appointment turns out to be an unnecessary one, and that your pain relents soon.
