So so sorry for the loss of your dear friend. It should remind us all to hug our friends and loved ones. Healing prayers for your dad.

I'm so sorry Mystie. So sorry. I spent time with a friend today talking about how she can help her husband prepare to say goodbye to his mom. That was very kind of you. I hope it didn't stir up too much of your own grief, Jen. Thank you Mystie. It was a hard emotional day for me but our conversation didn't affect me that way. I was glad to be able to help in some way. Even to just listen from a place of understanding.

I'm sorry for the loss of your friend Mystie and that your Dad is battling cancer too. It is a horrible disease. It seems that no one is immune to having some sort of experience of it. It touches so many lives in one way or another and brings such sadness to all involved.

Peace to you, and to Pam's family. Cancer sucks is putting it mildly.

I'm so sorry, yes cancer does suck. A good friend of mine who was dying of cancer, taught me a valuable lesson. She said, "we tell our families we love them all the time, we need to start telling our friends we love them too". Dawn died just a few weeks later, leaving behind a husband and two beautiful babies and 20 years later I never leave friends without telling them I love them.

I am so sorry for your loss, Mystie. Big hugs to you!
A co-worker of mine has a 5 year old son that was just diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma for the third time. His prognosis is grim... So much so that they just got back from an impromptu "dream trip" to Disneyworld. This poor kid has known nothing but doctors, hospitals, and awful treatments since he was 18 months old.
Cancer really does suck!

I'm so sorry. I lost a friend to liver cancer long ago. Seems completely unfair that the world goes on without that person in it. And now you will have to deal with cancer in a loved one again. Wishing you strength and peace.
