Beautiful knitting and crochet projects! I am about to cast on (again) for a shawl/wrap pattern named Color Affection. I started it and had to unravel it all because it got messed up during travel. This thread has inspired me!

I'm also working on this, just waiting for some more yarn to arrive so I can finish it and I'm making some socks Love it! A woman I worked with years and years ago taught me to make that afghan pattern but I've forgotten how to do it, do you the instructions? I would love to have them if you do.

Great projects everybody, and what a beautiful model you have epeanymous. Summer is my busy season and I don't get a chance to do any knitting or crocheting, but I did make these vinyl pics in both brown and black. I don't know what the white thing is on the bottom one in the pic, but it wasn't on the frame or on my floor. Attachments:

I got the bright idea to copy a felt advent calendar I saw on the interwebs. Unfortunately, I did not foresee how long it would take my big fingers to make 24, two inch stuffed felt Christmas items, like candy canes, stars, etc. It has become an enormous time suck, and the joke around our house is we might have to push back the start of advent this year.

Wait, we're supposed to do something with our pretty yarns? Everything looks great, I especially like the red heart blanket and colors you've chosen @bumpsy epeanymous, there were knitted projects in your photos? All I saw was adorable little girl! I especially love her expression in the last shot.

I've been working on hats for the VA hospital here, crocheting and knitting. That way when I get tired of knitting, I crochet and vice versa. So far I have about ten hats done but want to make a bunch more. Also I have been doing a bunch of sewing and embroidery work. I really am into crazy quilting lately and doing wool applique with lots of Sue Spargo embroidery style work.

I finished this quilt top a couple of days ago. Unfortunately, I had two kids screaming in the background when I was trying to figure the backing and I cut it wrong, so I had to order more fabric. I had decided I didn't like that backing for this quilt anyway, so I'll use that fabric for a quilt I'm making for a friend of mine. Anyway, here's my Dog Gone Cute quilt! I decided today that I really, really, need to learn how to knit. I got an email from Purl Bee with this sweater and I want it so very very much. But y'all, I don't knit so I will mostly just look at it and drool. (sorry, I had trouble getting the photo to work) world's most perfect sweater for Florida

I was cleaning out a storage area in the basement today and found a container with lots of wool and all of my knitting and crochet needles. I have a few projects to work on this winter.

moosedogtoo I absolutely love your quilt, it's adorable ShesaRenegade it's King Cole Cottonsoft in Sage, Mint, Sky and White. The Sage hasn't shown up very well in the picture, it's much more of an apple green IRL.

there are some seriously talented people on this thread! I would love to try that star blanket but haven't crocheted in many many years. How hard would it be for a newbie @bumpsy? Also, any advice on what kind of yarn to use for a baby who lives in central Florida? I'm guessing she's not going to need an exceptionally warm blanket. epeanymous your baby is gorgeous as are her dresses and sweater!! moosedogtoo I love that quilt!

Sweet baby! I haven't crocheted anything for a while. I go in spurts. I'm planning a skirt project--going to gelli print and stamp on it. I got a piece of practice fabric to mess around with. (More on my blog.) Mostly I like it. I might try a different paint before I get started.

These are a few of my blocks. The blocks were made by my great grandmother. I am resewing them because they were on a sheet called a bed duster and that sheet fell apart. Attachments:
