I bought the measuring bowls, but I'm thinking of returning them. They just aren't practical and I don't have a lot of room for cute stuff. I would prefer the little ramekins if I can find them in stock, but I won't chase them down either. The cooking utensils looked really nice.
One thing I though after looking at everything in the store is that this line is missing some pretty dishtowels, pot holders etc...

I googled and it's really cute. Kind of a fusion of Portuguese and vintage. I'm trying to figure out how I would feel about some of those patterns in a few years. I always worry when something looks like scrapbook paper that I like now. Except polka dot. Polka dots are timeless. I love the glasses. And the scalloped solid colored pieces. Are they made in China? Only sold at WalMart?

Huh, I was in Walmart this morning. I wandered up and down the housewares looking for some random things I needed. I didn't see any sign of the PW line -- I wasn't looking for PW, but I would have noticed and checked it out if I has seen any. Just supports the fact that my Walmart is crap.

Ahh, I'm getting it little by little! Both my local WM only have bits and pieces as well, and I'm bummed because I've seen pics on Instagram of huge 10 foot long displays at other stores, boo!
I was able to order some things on line, and its all shipping in bits and pieces.
I got some of the silverware flatware and one set of the turquoise pearl handled flatware, still processing the turquoise serving platter and bowl, the wooden handled utensils sets
the silverware should arrive tomorrow I think
My brother grabbed some at his Walmart for me, I got the 4 cup measuring cup, the floral cow creamer, the fluted edge serving bowls and the butter dish. I grabbed two pedestal bowls and an ivory colored platter, that is all that was left at my store.
Some ladies commented about my bowls in my cart and neither one of them had heard that PW had a line out. They both knew about her show and her blog but as soon as I said she had a line they practically ran over to where I pointed it out that it was, lol.
As for durability, meh. Its adorable, color and fun. I get tired of my stuff after about 5 years, I need a refresh to make setting the table fun again. I have a bunch of Fiesta but we've broken some bowls and again, I need to inject some patterns in, im totally bored with the solid color look.
THere are a few things more I want. I want all the cut glass, several pitches, the glasses, the dessert bowls. I want one of the cutting boards. I was going to go out and spend a lot of $$ on a Boos board but meh, for that money I can buy a crap ton of fun PW stuff.
Don't get me wrong, I love a good tool and have no problem spending on quality when I need it, esp my knives, pots and pans etc. But a cast iron skillet/dutch oven is the same to me no matter if I spend a fortune on a Le Crueset or a PW one. I have a variety in my kitchen and to me, they cook the damn same. Now my All Clad, you'll have to pry that from my cold dead hands. But the PW cast iron skillets are priced like Lodge, but hers have that cute butterfly. I choose the cute!
I agree with who ever said she needs to put out a line of linens and potholders and stuff. I noticed in her ads she uses bandanas as napkins, but I don't like that, they are way too thin. I like something a little more substantial.
Anyway, I hope that this line isn't going to be carried for only two months, what?! That's crazy town. By the way its selling I'm hoping it will sell at least through January.
and then I'm hoping she refreshes the line with some softer spring palette dishes etc.
I really hope this line becomes a WM staple, and not just temporarily. I love it all. So fun and Anthro looking, but at a great price point. As far as it being better off in Target, are you kidding me? Target is WORSE, you can never ever ever get in on the speciality lines with all the crazy Ebay hoarders buying everything out within hours. I hate Target for that. At least you have a shot with this stuff at WM.

I think Walmart did a poor job with this new product rollout. Just reinforces the negative opinion I already had about them. Would have preferred Target, oh well. I agree! I think Target or Kohls would have done a much better job! Walmart just gives me a rash!

I bought the vintage bloom dinnerware and would love to see some of those "soft spring colors" you mentioned as serving pieces. As far as the quality, I think for the price point it is pretty good. I have never been a Fiesta fan, this is right up my alley.

The reviews are not good on Walmart.com poor quality, chipped and cracked glaze after use. Was that for the cracked glaze ones or the others? I'll have to go look again.

My Walmart has just a 3x5' shelf space with a few pieces, and the section they selected is hidden behind a post. I can't tell if they've sold out, or if they just haven't stocked the shelves very well because there are lots of empty spaces. The Walmart employees are not helpful and a bit clueless (one helpful younger man directed me to Rachael Ray stuff!). I really want to TOUCH the items so hesitate to order on line.

I was at Walmart on my lunch break and saw them being put on the shelves and immediately fell in love with one of the patterns, but did not have time to shop. Went back a few days later and bought the adorable batter bowl, because that was one of the few items left. I went online to order several things but they were sold out online. I had planned on buying several of her items because they match my kitchen colors, but after all the bad reviews I am scared. So disappointed that they are made in China and I keep hearing stories about then chipping the first time they are put in the dishwasher etc.

Odd shape, wrong shape, not concave as it should be. But I guess that is what you get for such a low price.

I went to our WM yesterday and they had a lot in stock, but it was kind of spread out throughout the housewares department. They seemed to have most of the line, except the one thing I really wanted, the butter dish. I did end up getting the batter bowl, several of the crystal bowls, the 4 piece measuring set and a couple of utensils. I think it's cute and it coordinates well with my Fiesta.

I may or may not have bought pretty much everything on my lunch break today....
My kitchen accessories have been all red and stainless since I started putting together a kitchen, 15 years ago. And my plates/bowls are just basic white Ikea. I was tired of all red and wanted to start adding in teal. Thankfully her new line is mostly teal/red!
I got mismatchy plates, salad plates and bowls. The rolling pin, batter bowl, mixing and serving bowls, the cut glass glasses, butter dish and salt and pepper shakers. Maybe a few other small things. I might get the casserole dishes later. My store had a big section up front by holiday stuff - not back in the kitchen area. (Well, other than 1 small endcap of knives and things, which the manager pointed out to me. And told me his wife bought the whole set. LOL!)

DH said I could only go to Target for awhile after our son was born..He said that until he got his shots, Walmart wasn't safe.

My WM had one side of an aisle at the edge of the housewares department dedicated to the products. Very very cute in person! 1/3 of a whole shelf was dedicated to the teal cake tray but it was sold out. There was one batter bowl left and I was so tempted but I resisted. The quality seemed pretty sturdy. Some of the stuff did not seem dishwasher safe witch turns me off a bit.
Add me to the list that wishes these were at Target instead. .. but I'm glad my local WM had a big space dedicated to it.

Glad to see I'm not the only one obsessed with the PW dishes. I got one of each of a few different patterns. Really want the mixing bowl, but it seems like it would chip too easy. Would have to be decorative only... and I have waaaaay too many decorative pieces as it is. Charlie is adorable, but again, no space. The last piece I want to pick up is the cake stand, but haven't seen the available for a couple of months. My stores vary with how the set is displayed. Some have it right at the store entrance. Some have a prominent display in housewares. Others have broken up the pieces and shelved them with other like items. For instance: Utensils with Utensils. Plates with Plates. Glasses with Glasses, etc. I find this so silly. If you're looking for PW, you want to see how they all coordinate. Breaking them up makes that so much more frustrating.

We can't get them here in Canada. I'm so disappointed!
But I was just in Florida - checked 2 WM there - they didn't have the floral set I wanted (the one edged in teal with the larger, softer florals) so I just grabbed her giant lemonade jar/basket stand set.
Then on the way home we hit another WM in Erie - not the set I wanted there either. But I did get her cast iron pan. LOVE it!
Since I got home, I emailed the Pioneer Woman Collection "contact us" site - to see if it will be available in Canada soon.

I bought the turquoise Dutch oven and love it! I really like the details of the butterfly knob and her name embossed into the lid. I used it and it worked great and cleaned up like a breeze. Our Walmart had very limited amount of stuff. Most everything was limited to two end caps and just a small amount of her line. Can the lid go in the oven? Wasn't sure because of the butterfly handle. Im in the northeast. There's a large display front and center near the seasonal display in the new Walmart a little further from me, but the older Walmart closest to me has the items mixed in with the regular stock.

I bought the butter dish and the oblong baking dishes. They are great so far. We have two large shelves of her stuff in our Walmart. I love turquoise and red! My all white kitchen has red, black and turquoise accents.

Because of these threads, I looked for them at my local Wal Mart. They are either a well-hidden secret or not being carried. I at least wanted to see them! I made a trip just to view them too. On a previous visit they hadn't been unpacked. They were buried in a middle aisle amid other dishes. After these threads I thought they'd have a special display. I love the colors!
