I've been teaching kindergarten for the past two days so unfortunately my latest stuck-in-the-head song is Pete the Cat's shoe song. Pete the Cat and his shoes
lol.

Infortunately, the theme song for the PBS cartoon, "Peg Plus Cat". Very annoying.

OKay I think I might win for THE most random, weirdest ear worm right now. It's from a cornball Japanese monster movie from the 60's that I used to love as a kid, "War of the Gargantuas". I Youtubed it the other day so my kid could watch it, and I've got that stupid "The Wooooords..get Stuck in My Throat" song stuck in my head ever since. If you know it, you are my people. The words get stuck in my throat

I've recently added Christmas music to my Pandora shuffle list and little drummer boy has been drumming away ever since it popped up yesterday. (I'm working on inventory for the holiday shows and Christmas music gets me moving, knitting and sewing faster)

Ugh. It's "Wildest Dreams" by Taylor Swift. I can't STAND her. Oh no! Now it's stuck in my head! I have a love/hate relationship with that song.

I passed a sign yesterday at a Mobile home park that said "Trailers for sale or rent". So I am singing "King of the Road" by Roger Miller! How about that for an oldie!!!

We went to a Notre Dame football game Saturday, and ever since the Notre Dame fight song (which was also my Jr. High fight song) has been playing over and over in my head.

Nothing right now. I'm at the Apple Store and some kind of pounding music is blaring. It's like shoopping at Abercrombie. I can't even hear myself think. (I'm officially old and cranky.)

You know, this is really a dangerous thread to read. Now I've got "Trailers for sale or rent, rooms to let, fifty cents...." and "Let's go fly a kite, up to the highest height..." competing in my head.

I thought about this thread today when, periodically throughout the day, I caught my 5 year old emphatically singing the few words he knows of Pat Benatar's "Heartbreaker". I later heard him singing "We Are the Champions", which I know we heard while at the grocery store today because he pointed it out. Not sure where he picked up "Heartbreaker", though.

Oh man, ND's fight song is also my kids' school fight song. After every home game, I get it stuck in my head. I hated it 20 years ago. I still hate it now. I'm just glad dh isn't a Notre Dame fan.

Right now? "Pretty Woman". Don't know why. I haven't listened to it, at least consciously, in a very long time.

I have been watching old School House Rock videos so I am stuck on "Lolly, Lolly, Lolly Get Your Adverbs Here"...not kidding. DD was in a kids Schoolhouse Rock production all summer long when she was in 5th grade. It took me months to get those songs out of my head!

"Bad Blood" by Taylor Swift. I hate it and her. Gawd, make it stop. I really want to like her. Something to listen to at the gym. I can't deal with the ear bleeding I get from her, though.

Karma Chameleon, because I just had an 8th grader singing it during his writing prompt this a.m. Now, it's embedded in my brain.
