Thanks, everyone, for the support. Coffeetalk and M in Carolina, I'm so sorry that you have it, also.
I ended up getting my doctor's permission (at almost midnight) to increase my gabapentin dosage. He tripled it for the next few days, and then I'll start to wean off and see if the problem has gone away. As of now, it's bearable, but we'll see how it goes tonight after a day of moving around.

Hope you are feeling better soon **Angie**I have a friend with MS, sometimes she needs a wheelchair and other times she's ok with a cane. She was telling me she gets yelled at for sitting in the disabled seat on public transport because people don't think she's disabled enough!! I'd like to see them try coping with all the crud she's been through.

Thanks for the support everyone. It means a lot. People know all about cancer and can commiserate, but there are other horrible diseases and nobody knows anything about them. It's difficult when people don't understand that not everyone who uses a wheelchair needs it 24/7 or they're not scamming someone by getting up out of their wheelchair to grab something on a shelf in the store. There's lots of reasons people need wheelchairs. Angie, I had that weird sensation in my wrist last night. Your description of snow on the tv was so accurate! I'd felt the sensation before but didn't know how to describe it. Everyone looks at me oddly when I try and describe how I feel, but those "older folk" that remember stations going off the air always have that aha! moment. Not that I talk a lot about it. I always feel guilty that so far, I've a pretty tame version of MS. I feel like I shouldn't be complaining, so I don't usually. Last night was a weak moment and I knew the Peas would be here.....

**Angie**, complain as much as you like! You know that you will always get a sympathetic ear, a broad shoulder, and a cyber hug from the a Peas. That's one of the things we're best at.

I sure hope upping the Gabapentin works, Angie. I'm so going to steal your T.V description, it is an (unfortunately) great way to describe nerve issues.
I've resigned myself to being on Gabapentin for the forseeable future. I don't have MS, but have multiple nerve problems, including Trigeminal Neuralgia. I thought the pain in my teeth from the TN was bad, until 3 weeks ago when I had a nasty flare up of it, & all the 7 of the implants in my mouth started to hurt. Felt like a live wire was placed on them at times, & your T.V description fits what it felt like the rest of the time. We upped m Gabapentin again & it calmed down in a couple days, I am so hoping that happens for you.
I understand the not complaining, but I know there are a couple of us here with medical problems who find this a pretty safe place to get it out. When I was first diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia, of course I started googling. Yeah, finding it's nickname of Suicide Disease, not so helpful. Went to the old TwoPea's board, & sure enough, some wonderful ladies gave me great resources & encouragement. So don't feel bad about complaining, you've earned it the hard way.

**Angie** and m in Carolina I'm so sorry you are both dealing with MS. I hope you both have better days ahead. Thank you for sharing your descriptions for those of us who don't know what it's like. Yes, absolutely this.
