My 17 year old wants a 3d printer. But at $700 I don't think it's even in my price range. He may be disappointed Christmas morning. My 14 year old wants the Minecraft stop motion movie maker set. He likes to make movies. I bought the Minecraft stop-motion set already for my 11 year old. Was the first Christmas present I bought this year. I can't wait to see what he comes up with.

My daughter and niece are almost 13. I'm getting them each a Wreck this Journal book and some nice pens to go with it. My niece will also get a couple small gift cards to the food shops she and her friends like to visit when they are in the mall. My daughter wants the latest season of Modern Family and a book by a youtube star called Miranda Sings. I ordered both of those things from Amazon. My daughter is also in need of some hair supplies, so I picked up a stash of that kind of stuff. My oldest daughter is 18 and a freshman in college. She's getting a pair of nice slippers for wearing around the dorm - I got some Ugg type ones made by Bear Paw at Famous Footware. She likes clothes so I am going to pick up some clothing items and gift cards to stores in the mall in her college town. My younger daughter likes college hoodies, so I'm having my older daughter pick one up for her at the college bookstore.
I'm going to do a read through of this post so that I can pick up a few more ideas for my kids and my nieces and nephews.

I bought my 15 y/o dgs in the past a shirt of the month club for $50. You get a 3 month subscription and they can pick out their shirts. What about the same thing for the girls, a beauty box I think Birchbox will let you do a short term 3 month for about $50 Otherwise Lush makes some nice bath products. And for the 18 y/o boy, the man canIf they are into zombies this is a fun zombie charm bracelet That's all I have right now. Hopefully you find something that peaks your interest.

My teens love it when their uncle gives them cash. He always wraps it in fin ways. One year it was rolled up inside a toilet paper tube, another in a box of pop up tissues. Once in a empty Spam can.

Well, I don't know if these are things that teenagers would want, necessarily, but they're on my idea list for DD15's Christmas this year: - Laptop skin
- Shea infused socks from Bath & Body Works
- Inside Out on Blu-Ray
- Shampoo/Conditioner from L'Occitane (DD used this in a hotel last year and is still raving about it)
- Gift set(s) from Sephora - nail polish, makeup, etc.
- Products from The Body Shop or Bath & Body Works
- Anything with turtles on it (she goes ape for turtles - no idea why)
- Subscription to Rolling Stone (or other magazine)
- Pajamas
One idea that you (or they) might like is a turntable and vinyl records. They're really coming back into vogue. DD mentioned that she wants to get one for a friend's birthday. Um, a little rich for that, but a great idea for a family member's gift! Now I'll go look through everyone else's suggestions and see what other ideas I could find.

Our 17 yr old daughter has an upcoming Choir trip in March. So her Christmas present this year is paying for the trip. That and buying her some iTunes gift cards.

A few suggestions - I have nieces that are between 13 and 20.
Last year the most popular present in our "dirty Santa" with the young ones was a portable phone charger. I think all of the girls were coveting it. I ended up buying my 17 year old one and she has used it so many times. The one I bought will charge a phone and ipad without having to be re-charged and my dd took hers on camp for 4 nights and used only that as power outlets were scarce.
Another popular one was a set of portable speakers to use with their phones.
My dd is 18 and she would love the colouring books and some pencils etc.
She also loves décor things for her bedroom so funky cushions, signs with slogans, candles etc.
Something I bought all of my nieces years ago that they are all still using are lovely cosy blankets.
