Apparently there's one in Woburn, MA, which is only 30 minutes away. I'm going by there tomorrow so I'll try to find it. Wouldn't be too bad, since it's on my way to one of my clients. But the people in the other store were so nice. They're a very chatty, friendly bunch and oh so helpful! Did you ask why they're closing? When one close to me closed, it wasn't because sales there were bad but because they lost their lease. They ended up moving one of their other locations to a bigger, better and more convenient spot that is easier to get in and out of and easier to park. I would ask if they have any other locations planned for your area, you never know. I did ask -- but they're not moving elsewhere, it's definitely closing down permanently. The cashier I was chatting with said she had been planning to retire this summer, so it wouldn't really affect her that much. And that a few people would be moving to the other stores in New England.

I happened to be way over on the other side of the cities today, and thought I remembered that there was a TM over that way so I checked it out. Holy moly, they had a bunch of stuff and it was a HUGE mess! I managed to snag an Echo Park summer collection, a Christmas one from Chickaniddy and some Pebbles Valentine tags. They had a bunch of embossing folders but nothing I couldn't live without, and not very many dies. There was a bunch of Prima flower packs, a bunch of Paper House embellishments and some Thickers but I don't really use a lot of that stuff and what I might have used I probably already have so I could pass on those too. Oh, they had a bunch of packs of Bazzill in letter size and 12x12, but no colors I really loved.
If I can get in for a hair cut next week, I'll stop at the one I usually go to to see if I can get some other Echo Park stuff that I like.

I went to the one in Roswell yesterday. Roswell is 75 miles away so I don't get there much. I only got paper this time. There was a small clearance paper that I got but everything else was the $3.99 Bazzill cardstock. I got purple, pink, dark blue (a true blue, not turquoise, two terracotta and two clay. I was running out of "Dachshund red" and was thrilled to get those. I also got a dark blue and dark purple that was metallic or pearl, not sure but it is pretty.
No good dies that were a good deal or interested me very much. I still had some things I needed at Hobby Lobby, some leather and copper sheeting.
I would have loved to have gotten more cardstock but got what I need and use the most. I was hoping to find the mini WRMK magnetic mat but they didn't have one.
I DID get a package of tiny super magnets and a sheet of polycarbonate at Home Depot. I use the magnets with the mini magnetic mat and use both of those with my homemade stamper. I use the polycarbonate to make another one.

The last two times I've gone to TM I've come home with other things but nothing scrappy except for two sets of thickers that I had never seen before. But that was like 5 weeks ago.

I found some TH paper that was in a pack for $3.99. It really matches the album I am doing for Universal. That was a great surprise.

I finally went to my store on Saturday and was disappointed. They did have new stuff, but it was mostly Prima flowers and chipboard (just not my style), and some oooooold 7Gypsies and Chatterbox stuff (like those snap brad things) that I've seen a zillion times. They had Bazzill cardstock packages, but not any good colors at my store. I walked out empty-handed! DH I did notice they had a package of Crate Paper Poolside wood veneer (sorry, did not get the SKU). It was priced $1.99, which I thought was ridiculous. I know they've been raising their prices, but that kind of thing used to be $.99. Then stuff went up to $1.49. I will not pay $1.99 for them. I actually bought the same package during a sale online this summer and paid closer to .99 Sad to say I'm going to keep on with my occasional look in there, but just be more careful at looking at what they're charging before I get too excited about stuff! Plus, with my shopping there last year, I did manage to beef up my embellishment collection and boy-friendly materials quite a bit, which was my goal. So I think I'm in a pretty good place there at the moment.

I went to TM in search of the Prima markers that someone on a FB group I'm in had found but neither store had them. Unfortunately I did not walk out empty handed! Lol !

View AttachmentI mentioned those markers in another thread. I want those too! Maybe they haven't got them yet and you will get them next time, or try and get the sku# and call to see if they have them next week if they get another truck. Love your haul, looks like you got some great stuff.

Ours just moved and I just so happened to stop in on the opening day. They had a decent selection and the aisle looked bigger than the old store. They had a bunch of Spellbinders and some of the embossing folders. There were a few of the TH stamp/die combos. There was too much to look at really. I need to go back. I found out when they get their truck though, so it was helpful. The new store is really clean and well lit. I'm thrilled.

The lady in front of me at the cashier had two packs of the markers. I didn't know they were a hot commodity.

I usually go to the one in Golden Valley. Is there still one on 7 in Minnetonka?

The last two times I have stopped, at different stores, there was nothing new. I think @lorimcmud is getting there before me! (I also stop at the GV store!) ETA Why won't the @name work when the name has a space in it? I've tried correcting the capitol letters, using the space, not using the space...ARGH.

The actual user name may be different from the screen name. If you go into the main Reply screen and select the button with an "@" and little person symbol, you can search there, and the link will put in the real user name. I hope that makes sense.

mikklynn some people have different ID's that come up with the @ symbol. If you use the tag button at the top of the posting window (5th colored box on the bottom row with the @ symbol next to the little person icon) and start to type in the screen name you're looking for in the little box that opens up, a list of members will pop up underneath it and you can click on the one you want to tag. Lori's is one that comes up with a different ID. ETA oaksong and I replied at the same time!

I finally went to my store on Saturday and was disappointed. Alissa - I dont know if you have been up my way lately but Rivergate store has moved to Hendersonville and is at least twice the size of our old store. I found a few things the other day but now it is in a newer shopping center I am certain it will see much more turn over of product. Fingers crossed.

Here is what I found at TM including the Prima markers. They are 4.99 each. Sku# 1648775-medium skin, 1648780-dolled up. They had others that were called jet black, Sapphire, and a dark skin one. I didn't see a light skin which is what I was looking for. I only got these two since I have copics in the other colors. They also had the Thickers from Dear Lizzy Fine and Dandy. I didn't get those since I already have a package of them. There are lots more embossing folders, stamps that included embossing folders together, and some more dies. If you need the sku off of anything else let me know and I will post it. Happy hunting/ shopping.

I stopped by my Tuesday Morning today after reading this thread. I was surprised to see that they had a full aisle of scrapbooking stuff. I didn't end up getting anything, but found lots of stuff (scrapbbook and otherwise) that I liked. They are getting ready to move locations, but the store was clean and well organized. I will go back.

I stopped by last week and was really disappointed that they hadn't really gotten much in lately. the paper stock was super low. you can usually find Graphic 45 paper packs and Bazzill but nothing this time. not even 6x6 pads. I hope that will change soon.

My TM did not have anything in the picture above...but they did have some 12 by 12 Pebbles Spring paper, Pink Paislee Atlas and Pink Paislee...the one with the rotary phone paper. No new 6 by 6 pads or 25 sheet packs.
They had a bunch of Amy Tan and Studio Calico roller phrase stamps, SC wood veneers (hearts and arrow,a fruit one and one with numbers) Pebbles puffy apple stickers, and SC misting templates. There were a ton of embossing folders, magnetic mats with the ruler, and some of the smaller Sizzix dies.

I was suckered into four packs of the Prima markers today. And my TM had one pack of this 3-D paper that, for $2.99, I figured I could experiment with. It even came with glasses so you could see the effect.
The aisle was packed today, and even on Tuesday, there's usually no more than two of us shopping it at a time. One gal kept moaning to herself. I kinda liked some of the stuff in her basket ... I almost said, "Well, if it's that distressing, let me take these off your hands."

I hope we get some good things on Thursday. The TM closest to me doesn't get their craft stuff out until Friday. Oftentimes they will just put the cart out in front of the craft aisle and leave it there. I can't tell you how many times I go through it and put stuff on the pegs for them.

Even though I have one package, I'm kind of jealous of the Wildflower Thickers. <3 I hope mine gets them in. We've gotten most of the others (except for those ones mentioned and the iridescent/white glitter ones from the Imaginisce winter line...I found one package of the blue, though) and a few repeats. I'm so hooked on the word ones that I keep buying one even though I might already own a few of that same set because they are just so awesome. Thickers are my crack...I rearranged them recently and before my recent 10-12 from TM in the past week and ones in kits that are not with my main Thickers, I had nearly 390. I've now crossed the threshold of 400 and plan to go to the AC Warehouse sale in Utah for my birthday and I'll probably buy another 8/16/24 (they are a really good price in multiples of 8) while I'm there. In my defense, unlike my washi hoard, I actually use my Thickers on all of my layouts.
