I want to like the show but it's too much like fixer-upper. almost exactly like fixer-upper. It's too much of a rip off.

I saw that Jo from Fixer Upper said she would be watching it and that she was friends with the couple. So that's probably not completely an accident that they are similar...

I just watched it for the first time. I really like the couple who 'star' in the show. I think there's room for both FIXER UPPER and this show.

My husband and I watched the first 10 minutes or so of the show. We thought it was too much like fixer upper.

It's so similar to Fixer Upper in personality of hosts and style. However, I really liked how at the end they used family pieces, pictures, furniture, etc that had meaning to decorate. On Fixer Upper, Jo just styles it with things SHE loves that aren't staying after filming. I liked how on this show they really focused on making it feel like a home, not just a 'perfect' house. I thought the wife on Home Town was a tad annoying, though
