Well, when you find some...let me know! I mean, tunics are nice but they just make me look pregnant.

I need something bigger. lmao. Actually it's not super bad but we're going on vacation next month and all my dad and sisters tell me is how fat I am even when they're bigger than me so I don't want to hear it.

I think the clothing choices are correct, they looked for certain clothing styles, not pictures on plus sizes models. But at the end of the day even if you have seamless lines, flowy fabric and flattering clothes, people still see how wide you are, we (myself included) can't kid ourselves by thinking we're hiding anything.

I go with the structured style and the untucked shirt...I don't like tunics or the extra fabric of a band under the boobs. less material the better.

O.K. I had to laugh at the jeans described as having twice the spandex as regular jeans. That just doesn't work. I have jeans with so much spandex that they pull themselves down. While this may distract from the belly fat, it does cause issues with hiding other body parts best not shared with the world.

Layers. A jacket or vest over a t-shirt. A button up shirt left open over a tank. A sweater over a nice top. Those are all styles that are flattering to hide belly fat. I almost never wear a single layer anymore.

The tunics are pretty but they seem to accentuate my belly fat. Now if they made a magic shirt to melt the fat away!!

Most of those styles just make me look pregnant. I can'y help it if I gain most of my weight in my belly. Blah!!!!

Good Lord! Those people must be on drugs if they think #12 is a good style for someone with a belly. Yes, by all means, let's put a big pile 'o fabric right on top of her large bulge.

I wear tank tops and an unbuttoned shirt over them. I buy from Woman Within and have a pintuck blouse in white that people comment on. The looseness makes it look like it's the fabric floofing out, not my belly.

I have a few button up shirts they aren't as loose fitting as I'd like. I need to find more but I can only find long sleeved ones.

Shirts that have the band on the bottom may be an option. I also have good luck with fitted and pin tucks.

I find that bigger, loose clothing makes me feel bigger than I am. I can only wear high waisted pants that suck me in. And I do have some great jeans with spandex that totally hold their shape, they're just too pricey. I buy 1 pair maybe every 3 years as opposed to a buying a new pair more often. I also look better in v necks as opposed to higher necks. V necks are more minimizing for me, and the shirts can't be boxy or short, they need to be longer and more fitted to be flattering. Maybe with a slimming cardigan or wrap over top.
The first time I dished out for a pricy pair of denim I couldn't believe what I'd done. I wore them when out with dh and he commented on how slim and good I looked. I had to run out and buy them in black denim too. That was 4 years ago and I've worn those two pair of jeans at least 4x week for the last 4 years. They haven't lost their shape.

I wear high waist Maria by J Brand. In Starless (dark wash) they are fantastic. Don't be discouraged by how they look. They are fabulous, so comfortable ad make me feel like a rock star. I can wear them for dressy or casual, with flats or boots. Really worth every penny. I also wash them maybe only 2-3 times a year. I just take them off as soon as I get home.

It is not nice being skinny and looking pregnant especially since it has been a few years since I finished going through menopause.

Shirts that have the band on the bottom may be an option. This style really works for me. I wear tops with thin and thick bands and make sure there is enough fabric to fall over my body without billowing around. I know I'm probably not fooling anyone but the illusion in the mirror says I am thinner.

The white t shirt for $76, did you notice the brand is Yummie Tummie? Is that the brand from Heather on NYC Housewives?
