Thank you, Patter said above it didn't count steps, I understand now she meant stairs. Do you find it accurate Ms.Knit?

Thank you, Patter said above it didn't count steps, I understand now she meant stairs. Do you find it accurate Ms.Knit? It seems to be. Though I haven't really tested it to be sure. Editted to add some info after thinking on it. The Alta info that I can confirm seems accurate is the sleep tracking and the activity tracking. So, I'm comfortable with the accuracy of the steps. Which is likely why I haven't bothered to test the steps. I thought about getting the Garmin Vivofit. Dh has had Garmin watches/HR monitors for years. He's a runner. That Garmin gave us info about his bike wreck we would never have had otherwise. Anyway, I stayed with the Fitbit because I didn't want to learn a new device. I like the sync with the phone app feature.

I have the One and wear it 24/7. I'm a NICU RN and cannot wear the bracelet type trackers.

I wear one every day because it reduces my health insurance premium. Unfortunately I just washed it yesterday I want the new watch but have to look at the reviews to see what people are saying about it.

I have a Charge HR and really like it. The heart rate monitor is not nearly as accurate as a chest strap would be. I do exercise dvds and it often can't figure out what's going on if I'm using weights or doing an activity with a lot of arm movements. I will be dripping with sweat and it says that my average heart rate for that workout was something like 105. I know what I'm doing is more vigorous than walking my dog. So it's a nifty gadget, but it's not perfect. One thing I have consistently noticed is that the days I climb a lot of flights of steps are the days I have my biggest calorie burn. I work on the 3rd floor of my building and I've always felt it was part of my exercise program, but the Fitbit confirmed it.

I've had the Charge HR for about a year. I upgraded from the One that I had had for about 3 years. I love this little gadget so much. It definitely keeps me engaged in how active I am, how much I'm eating and how much I'm burning.
I have it synched with My Fitness Pal and they talk to each other throughout the day. MFP tells me how I'm doing on my macros and my calories in and the FitBit tells me how I'm doing with my calorie burn.
No HRM is 100% accurate but I feel that this one is more accurate than the Polar F4 I was using when I had the Fitbit One. I just love that it registers my total calorie burn throughout the day.

If you reach out to FitBit's Customer Service they'll replace it for you. I did that once and they replaced mine!

I have the One and love it. I've worn it every day for the past 2-1/2 years. I keep it on my waistband and check all my steps and active minutes via the app at least a dozen times a day. I'm trying to get back to 100,000 steps a week on a consistent basis.

I have the Charge. I got it for Christmas in 2014...so a little over a year. I'm on my THIRD one. The first one the rubber coating peeled off. FitBit replaced it free of charge. The second one suddenly stopped holding a charge. (Like I'd have to charge it 2x a day.) They replaced that one free of charge as well.
This one is still having issues where it only holds a charge a few days...not the length it's supposed to. Their customer service is pretty amazing though.
If I had it to do over, I'd buy a garmin vivofit. My son has had one for almost a year. It's more waterproof and the battery needs to be replaced about once a year. The downside is no text/phone notifications...which might be a good thing.

I have the Charge HR. I don't really think the HR or the exercise tracker are all that important. I wouldn't want one that doesn't go on my wrist. If I were buying one today I'd get the flex.

I have the Charge HR. I like the HR part, even if it isn't completely accurate. I like to equate a certain level of exertion with my heart rate. I also enjoy when it takes a lot more exertion to get to the same heart rate after a few weeks.
That said, I've had major technical issues with my charge. It doesn't keep time, doesn't sync properly, and drops the history. And this is the second one I've had that does that since Christmas. The software is wicked buggy, and I've spent many hours trying to get it to work properly. I just uploaded the new version yesterday, so I hope this time it works.

Their customer service is great but I'm guessing even they have their limits I will give it a shot though.

Those that are having trouble syncing your Charge HR's reach out to Customer Service. That happened to me and they were great in getting my fitbit restarted. They are really helpful!

It's a few years old now as it sits in my drawer. now my teen dd wants one I have the Fitbit One (waist/clip on) and I've worn it every single day for the last 3 years. I look at it about 10x a day and I pretty much get 10,000 steps every day. I don't need a new one. I definitely don't need one with a heart rate as I'm not a runner and I'm not in training for anything. I don't need one that buzzes every hour to remind me to walk...I can just look down and my current one gives me all the info I need.
My friend got a wrist one and she drives a school bus daily. She gets like 2500-3000 steps for that alone, not to mention 100+ floors a day! Drives me insane! It took me climbing a mountain to get my 100 floor badge (and even bigger one for my 300 floor badge!) lol Then on the weekends it drops tremendously.....so I'm leery of the wrist ones and how they track steps. If ever I need a new one I hope they still have the One available!

I would not be happy with that. Made me wonder if my Alta would pick up movement from just my arm. So, I flapped that arm about and sync-ed. Didn't register.

Ive done everything CS has recommended to synch my Charge. I had to follow those steps EVERY TIME I needed to synch. That's not a fix. Now it won't even work with those steps.

I have a charge HR that won't synch since an update last year. I need to see if they'll replace it. I loved it when it worked. My One stopped synching for months! I couldn't figure out what was happening. After several searches on Google, I found a solution. Until then, I tried everything - restarting, deleting/re-installing the app and nothing worked. I wish I knew exactly what I did though - it was strange, but it worked!

I'm on my second One. I had the original Ultra for years prior to upgrading to the One a couple years ago. I'm not big into bracelets and not sure I want to wear my fitness tracker around my wrist....BUT with that said, Fitbit's new Blaze has me intrigued.
