gypsymama- how do you mean hypocrisy?? I just didn't like you calling anyone who supports Trump stupid. Are we supposed to be tolerant of insults? That's not what I thought we were talking about here...

So much for tolerance! I also don't think hypocrisy is worth tolerating either Like the hypocrisy of people being outraged that Trump insults people, at times by calling them stupid, then calling others stupid? Not saying that you call him out for his insults, as I don't recall any of your posts, but I'm always shaking my head at people in general who do this. Two wrongs don't make a right. If people think name calling is wrong, yet turn around and do it, it pretty much invalidates their argument.

Thankfully I'm married to a Bernie supporter. And as someone in an organization that has endorsed Hillary, including door knocking for her (that day, he wasn't sure if we'd get a knock so he put an 'anyone but clinton' paper on our front door), it's rough for him, but gets more exposure to politics than most people. This year's candidates have me so disinterested in politics. Just the way Trump opens his mouth makes me fear we'll see another Pearl Harbor or something because he says the wrong thing to the wrong leader. I don't get people who think running the country like a business is a good thing...businesses are cold hearted and bottom line oriented, shut down facilities and fire people when business isn't doing well...so how does that bode for programs he doesn't believe in but benefit lots of someones in this country?

Saying the right things or saying nothing got us the World Trade Center disaster on 9-11. The new kind of crazies in the world need to be handled differently.

That's not just business, it sounds a lot like plain old politics-as-usual. If you think that those "greedy corporate CEOs" aren't hand-in-hand with the lying, greedy politicians, think again. We need a true leader who puts the people before himself and I don't see any candidate who is willing to do that. Certainly not Trump, or Hillary, or Bernie, or Ted...and at this point, I have my doubts about Kasich. Of course, all the diversity in this country has divided us so much that we wouldn't stand behind such a person even if he were in the running.
