When I bought my house it was in the contract that I could have two visits before closing. Can't remember what I did for the first but second was day before closing just to make sure nothing had changed/was missing. Multiple visits would drive me nuts.

We are having an open house today. Our contract with them ends on April 15, But I guess the realtor told him that we were getting annoyed with their visits and now they want to know if we want them to remove their offer. Seriously? They want the house enough to repeatedly come by or send others by, but one word about your feelings on the visits and they're all "Well, okay, if you want we won't buy it after all?". I call bull. They're annoying the crud out of me on your behalf.

We might have looked at this house twice between the day we looked at it initially and when we closed, but there was also no contingency because we put in a cash offer and we gave them the 2.5 months before closing they wanted because I don't think they thought it would sell so fast. Once was for the home inspection and the other was right before the closing. Anything much more than that (barring unforeseen unusual circumstances) would just be annoying!

I haven't bought a house in a long time, but the only thing we requested was a walk through on the day of the passing just to make sure everything was in the shape it should have been. Otherwise modifications and such waiting until we owned the place. My feeling is you have been very patient. I liked the idea of saying sure, but we're busy with xyz and can accommodate you on a date about 2 minutes after the expiration of the contract.
