Or am I just weird? Well, actually, I own that, but still, does it happen to you?
Sometimes I'll be eating scrambled eggs, an omelet, or quiche, and all of a sudden, I just can't eat another bite and even the thought of it makes me feel gaggy. This only happens with eggs, nothing else.
Worse, once it happens, it may be months before I can stand the thought of eating them again.
I'm on a soft-food diet right now, and eggs was one of the things I could eat. But not now.

Hmmm...that happened to me before, and I LOVE eggs! Scrambled, hard boiled, over easy all equal YUM! But the time I didn't like them was when I was pregnant. Couldn't stand them! Took me awhile after wards to be able to eat them again. ...?

No more. Even the cheese is gross. Happens to me! My dad no, son no, and mother no.

Eggs are a weird food for me too. Sometimes I'm ok with them and sometimes they just seem unappetizing. I think it's the texture I don't like.

Happensis to me too, so you're obviously not the only weirdo here. (Although I don't have to wait months before I try eggs again).

Scrambled eggs do that to me now and then. I have no problem with other types of eggs, but scrambled can be a crap shoot.

Took me awhile after wards to be able to eat them again. ...? Conversely, when I was pregnant with DD I craved eggs the entire time. When she was old enough to try eggs, she wanted nothing to do with them! i LOVE omelets, but every time I have one (maybe every 6-8 weeks) I get this bloated feeling all day. One of the reasons I don't eat them more often. I sometimes make an egg sandwich for breakfast and the over easy egg doesn't do this to me and neither does hard-boiled.

YES!! It happens to me most often with eggs, like you described, and sometimes with chicken. But mostly with eggs. It's like I'll be eating an omelet (which I love) and all of the sudden after that last bite, it turns my stomach-- maybe it's something about the texture, or the consistency of the cooked egg? not sure.
(I also thought I was weird for this, so I've never even tried to describe it to anyone before.)
ETA: something similar can happen if I'm getting full, and then bam, all the sudden whatever I'm eating doesn't taste good anymore, which is my cue that I'm full. But with eggs, it's a different feeling; almost nauseous / gagging, like the OP said.

I'm that way with oranges. The white stuff on them made me gag terribly and throw up when pregnant. I still eat them with caution and definitely eat them less.

Yes, in fact it just happened last night - I was eating tuna and crackers (quick dinner I have once in a while when I'm on the go) and I had eaten 4 or 5 bites and suddenly I thought - I cannot eat one more bite of this tuna and felt like I would gag at the thought of it. I threw the rest away and probably wont' have tuna for a good while now.

Happens to me occasionally but it's not associated with any particular food.

It's eggs for me, too. The only way I eat them is in something like a veggie scramble. And I usually only do egg whites.

Happens to me occasionally but it's not associated with any particular food. That's me, not restricted to one food. I don't like cheese on eggs, the textures are similar too much gooey.

I do that with eggs and occasionally meat.

Yes. Every time I eat eggs, it might have something to do with my 17 year old calling eggs 'liquid chicken'
It happens almost every time I eat. I'm like 'this is delicious' one bite and then the next I'm instantly 'if I put one more bite in my mouth I'm going to hurl' and I'm definitely not over eating. Sometimes it's half a serving in, sometimes just a few bites.

Yes. In general, eggs make me queasy. Every once in a while, I will get hungry for a nice omelet. Sometimes I can finish it before it seems gross to me but usually I can't finish it.

Yes!! Most often with eggs, especially eggs with cheese, and occasionally perhaps with fish (?) but without the nauseated feeling. And I love eggs. I could eat them every day, and often do. I don't think I've ever had to wait more than a few days before I eat them again, but I did overdo it on having a mini-quiche for lunch every day for a while and then I had to stop and I haven't had one in the 5+ years since. I think it's almost always scrambled eggs or omelets or quiche-type dishes that trigger this. I've never had an issue with boiled or fried eggs. I wonder if it's the combination of dairy and eggs, if it triggers some kind of fullness feeling... too much protein or something? I can't usually eat eggs and cheese early in the day either.

I can only eat egg whites, but I know what you mean. I've also noticed the older I get, the more issues I have with food textures. Like stuff just feels weird in my mouth, so that's my weirdness.

Occasionally. Generally, when it's something I don't totally love...if I barely like something, this happens more and I will just feel like I am just totally done with it.

I can't eat eggs in the morning. They come right back up. I can eat them for brunch, lunch, or dinner. Same goes for peanut butter.
I have no idea why. I asked my doctor and his response was, "You're just weird." Lol

Never with eggs, but quite often with the milk that's left over from my cold cereal. I'll spoon it up and try to finish it that way but the thought of swallowing one bit more is just yuck. But weirdly enough I can finish it if I put just a bit more cereal in it. Yeah, weird.

Yes! Eggs & bananas have that affect on me. I could literally make myself sick if I think about it while eating them.

Ha! I thought it was just me. I buy fresh eggs from my neighbor so I know they are good, but occasionally I have stop mid-bite. Yuck! I can't even pinpoint if it's the texture or taste.

Yes! Happens to me even when the eggs are not scrambled, more with the whites than the yokes. I was eating a deviled egg yesterday (which I love) and as I was chewing a bite that was all boiled egg white (the edge with no filling) I was DONE!

I should add to my previous comment, if you make them into a chocolate cake I can eat them all the time without feeling sick. Funny how that happens isn't it?

It's eggs for me too. It's the texture. I like them and I can be eating them happily when BAM something sets off my gag reflex and I can't take another bite.

No thankfully that has never happened, I love eggs. Although now that I've read this..... it might have something to do with my 17 year old calling eggs 'liquid chicken' ..... I'm betting that I'll feel a bit squeamish next time I eat an egg as those words play in my head! Thanks Steph - not!

Just be thankful you don't live with my awful children who think it's super fun to gross me out. You know, little things like putting name tags on each of the eggs when they get them from the backyard and then having a ridiculously emotional and absurd memorial for each of them as you're making quiche. Kind of hysterical, but I ate fruit salad that night. Brats

Yes. This happens to me too with eggs from time to time. My husband also tells me I'm strange. Especially if I suggested we have eggs.
