at the age of 98 yesterday at dawn my MIL died.
She hadn't known us for maybe 2 years, but she did know some of her caregivers.
we gathered as a family to celebrate her last evening for a nice dinner.
we will miss her. Sad.

Your MIL lived through most of one of the most amazing centuries ever and it's people of, or who would be, her age who were responsible for the development of so many things we take for granted now. My condolences to you and your family, sending you hugs from across the Atlantic.

How amazing that she was 98, but also sad that Alzheimer's robbed her of some of that time. My sympathies.

Im sorry, such an ugly ugly disease. I lost my grandparent to it.
Glad your family could spend time together. There can be good memories when a family is able to do that!
