Lucy, here is what we are having for dinner: steak with a baked potatoe and fruit salad. I get it about the mushrooms. I love Bella Bella mushrooms. I had to incorporate them into my roast beef and roasted veggies dinner this week. I hate it when food spoils Hate, hate, hate it.  I hope you are successful with improved eating, Scrapmaven. |

I'm not feeling well, started feeling icky yesterday. Ended up with corn dogs and mac n cheese.
Maybe tonight will be pizza.

Oh no, Scrapmaven! Hope you are able to get some rest today and through the weekend.
Tball tonight, but my youngest stayed home from school today so he and I may stay home. Dad will go with DS.
Either way, spaghetti is for dinner. I will also roast some veggies to go with it since it sounds good.

Cheddar bacon burgers with spaetzle Although I actually had to go to the office today. And I'm STILL stuck there so I'm crazy bored with an almost 2 hour commute home. Any chance I could get you to put mushrooms and pickles on those suckers? lucyg was unable to fulfill my request of mushrooms on her burger last week, but I'm hoping you will fill that void. Pickles -check Onions - check Mushrooms - not at the moment but I may stop on my way home as I could go for some sautéed mushrooms. |

We had a very late lunch of broasted chicken, way over cooked potato wedges and cole slaw. I'm thinking popcorn later on with some melted butter and salt...yup! That'll be dinner for me!

We are having chicken that was marinaded in a lemon garlic sauce (I was going to cook them on the George Foreman grill since it started raining outside, but my husband offered to brave the rain so he is outside barbecuing them), potato wedges and roasted asparagus.

Aw, scrapmaven . I hope this latest thing works for you. Thanks so much for being on the ball with our daily thread. Food creates family, no matter what kind of food it is or with whom we share it. I heated a frozen pizza tonight and loaded it with black olives and cut up artichoke hearts from a can. Have leftover fig ice cream, too, for later on. Not healthy, but so delicious. Thanks for the thread. |

Scrapmaven, thanks for sharing. I don't like to be rude or nosey but I like to understand other people's situations and I feel like I learn a lot from others' experiences.
We are having pizza tonight. My husband texted me a bit ago that the place is packed and he was number 70 in line when he placed the order - could be a while!

Have you ever had one of those days when you feel like you just can't eat enough?? That is me today. I am at the point where I am literally having to stop myself from going to the grocery store to buy some kind of serious junk food. I. AM. A. BOTTOMLESS. PIT. I had a huge salad for lunch, and then a small portion of the pasta I had last night and now I feel like I am going to simply fall over and die from hunger. How is that even possible?? bc2ca Happy Anniversary. I think it's OK to give your dh a pass. Maybe you can plan a fun thing to do in a few weeks when he's feeling better. Thank you everyone for your good wishes. So far so good. No pain yet. We shall see.
