So this thread is for all the people out there who say "I love Studio Calico's style but I hate Studio Calico's attitude!" Post products you like from SC and we see if we can find dupes for it somewhere else! I'll start: these chipboard star stickers in the Scout June kit- where can I get these?:

Heidi Swapp had something almost exactly the same in her planner line.

Freckled Fawn has some nice gold stars. Not exactly the same, but close: Heidi Swapp makes gold star stickers:

You could make them with a star punch if you have one already.
Great idea for a thread!

Thanks for starting this thread. I am obsessed with that constellation paper from SC - any lookalikes around?

Those gold stars remind me of the one teaches used back in elementary school.... what about an office depot or staples?

You can still get Seven paper at some scrapbook stores. I know it's a SC brand but it's probably the closest match you'll find to those chipboard stars.

I often punch out 2 or 3 stars and glue them together to get the look of chipboard.

Could you punch some out and gold emboss them? If you stack several on top of each other (before embossing the top one), it will mimic chipboard.

ellewood , that chipboard piece with the circles and stars reminds me of one of the background patterns I can cut with my CTMH Artbooking Cricut cartridge. HERE is a page I made with that pattern. You can cut it much smaller and daintier of course.

OK friends, that pool washi tape in the July scrapbook kit - or anything pool-patterned. I have one or two papers already, I think, but I welcome more! I love that kind of design.

Just jumping in on this thread but I saw those stars and thought of something. If you have a $Tree near, they have sold metallic posterboard at times. You could use a punch or star die with that and maybe even layer it to get that look.

I just wanted to say, though, in my experience Little B washi is awful. It doesn't stay down on anything, and I generally have no issues with washi staying down. Save

I'm looking for dupes for these red snowflakes and wood veneer stars in Ali Edward's DD kit from last year. I don't really care for the rest of the kit, but man oh man do I want those snowflakes and stars. Anyone know of a similar shape/font/clipart so that I can recreate them with my silhouette?

Martha Stewart has some pretty intricate snowflake punches that make lovely cuts when punched. When Joannns starts to put out their holiday scrapping stuff you'll have even more choices in them. I think they order more at that time of year. Plus then you can cut them in any color you want, forever & ever

Ok I also just did an image search for snowflake dies in Google and oh my, so many pretty ones! Lots of options. Tim Holtz has a die that cuts five different ones that look detailed. Lawn Fawn has several pretty sets as well.
