Don't change a thing, and thanks once again for providing a place for us to play.

My desire for a dislike button is geared more towards sad or unpleasant topics but I can see where it could be a bad thing as well.

I like this board just the way it is. I guess I would like to see recipes brought back to NSBR. It seems to me that the recipe board is just dying a slow death. I thought the recipe forum was more like a cookbook to search if you are looking for ideas, not an active forum . I know it gets referenced in some of the What's for dinner threads as people direct someone there for a recipe or suggest a recipe get added. There are definitely threads about meal planning and asking for recipe ideas, etc., on the NSBR. SaveSave

The only thing I would change is having it keep me logged in all the time. Even when I check the box to keep me signed in, it doesn't. I know it's not that big of a deal but sometimes I end up just reading and not participating because j don't want to log in again.

When I try to add photos it always says the attachment file is too big. What type of phone do you have? I usually am on my iPad Air 2

Threads expire after six months and can't be bumped.

I don't want to see my blocked people's replies at all. Currently I can still see their posts when other people quote them. I have them on block for a reason and don't want to see their quoted replies either. This! SO much this! I pointed it out on a thread once and was called names! I even messaged Admin about it once but never heard back so I don't think she got it. I know other boards have this functionality so I'm hopeful we can as well. The current ignore function doesn't really live up to its name at all.

The ability to block just a single thread from view, not everything someone posts.

I'd love a separate forum (not sure if that is the right term) for the weekly/monthly posts. I know we have some weekly(ish) posts about the pressure cooker, yarnies post catchups I think once a month. Not sure if the bookclub exists still. Sometimes certain shows generate weekly talk. I'd love to see a forum to separate these so they are easier to find and participate in. You just need to use the Bookmark feature (upper right corner of the first post in a thread). When you use that feature, you will also get notifications of new posts to the thread if your settings are set to receive them. It will show as a number above "Bookmarks" in the list at the top. Save

I know it's not that big of a deal but sometimes I end up just reading and not participating because j don't want to log in again. That's a cookie setting on your tablet/computer/phone, not on the board. I use the board from my laptop and it keeps me logged in. But as soon as I log in from my iPhone, it logs me out on the laptop and I have to log in again, and vice versa. Also you might have your computer set to delete cookies after each browser session, and that will log you out too. I love the board as it is, but the "hugs" clicker option is my favourite idea on this thread. That would be great! Thanks admin, and happy 2nd anniversary everyone! Save

We will all be in real trouble if I ever do get bumped out. Because I have no idea what my password is. And y'all would miss me.

Yea, I think people can still post recipes on the nsbr, the recipe board is more like a file for all the saved recipes. People are using it wrong it sounds like, or don't really know what it's for?

It would be great if when you have visited a post before and it shows up that there are new responses - that when you click on the link it would take you to the point where the new responses begin. Right now you have to click and then click on the last page or find out where you left off. Thanks for all the work that you all put in with the boards! That's exactly what this board already does. You click where it says "new" and it takes you right to the new responses on that thread. If you click on the title it takes you to the beginning of the thread.

It would be great if it was mandatory for your state or country would be part of information under the post & thread count.
Peas ask for advise on stuff but each state/province/country has different laws. This would allow the OP to get information on what may be applicable where they live.

I only read on my phone using Tapatalk. I like that I get all posts not segregated by board. Using the timeline, the newest post replied to is at the top. I do wish that I could reply to polls on the app.

Where is this "new" button? To the immediate left of each thread. It's black. I didn't notice it for ages either!

I like the board the way it is. I like to see all threads and if one appeals to me on any given day then I click, if not, I scroll. It's not hard to do. Exactly that. I love the board the way it is. I don't think any changes are needed. And a dislike button would only cause issues. If you don't like it or don't have something nice to say, then ignore it. Don't hurt the person by saying you don't like it. To me a dislike button is just mean.

To be able to hide a thread so I don't have to reread titles that freak me out.

One weird thing I've been experiencing is on multi page thread when I get to the bottom of page one, I go to page 2 but it brings me right to the bottom of page two. This has only been happening for the last couple of weeks for me. I am viewing via Firefox if that makes on difference on a PC

I would love a "Multi Quote" button to the left of the current "Quote" button. Many times I want to quote different posters as I am reading on my one response but I have to C&P and add it to a quote from someone else. I see that you might be able to do that with the gear menu on each post but it would be more convenient if it was just a button.

I cannot think of a change I want, but agree with one I don't want. The mix of repeated specialty topics keeps the board moving and can be informative. Never say never, thanks to them, I now own a ninja slow cooker and an Insta-pot. Two things I never would have considered without dipping into the threads because they're so active. I almost wish the general scrap board was reintegrated with NSBR. I haven't been scrapping lately and forget to catch up on its news. OK... I was gonna say I want the dueling sword app admin had recently, but I'm gonna use my one vote to see more scrapbooking in with NSBR.

I have them on block for a reason and don't want to see their quoted replies either. I'd like the block to be mutual...If I block someone I don't want them to see anything I post either. I do not want there to be a mutual block like that. We're posting on a publicly readable message board. Expect that even people you dont like will be able to read what you write anyway.
