Cool. 3/4 cup sugar3/4 cup dark brown sugar7 tablespoons cornstarchpinch of salt6 cups whole milk8 egg yolks1 tablespoon vanillaWhisk yolks, whit sugar and cornstarch in large bowl until incorporated and lump free. In heavy pot on stove, add milk, salt and brown sugar. Bring to simmer.Slowly pour 3/4 cup hot milk into egg mixture while quickly whisking. On e eggs are tempered, pour into milk pot on stove. Whisk until thick and bubbly. Off heat, add squeeze out bananas into the pot and use immersion blender to smooth. Stir in vanilla. Crush 6-7 vanilla wafers into a bowl/glass, top with 1 cup pudding. Chill for 4 hours. Top with whipped cream and serve.
