I thought I would start a light thread since I know I could use it right now and I am sure others could too. What has made you laugh lately? My new favorite comedian is Anjelah Johnson. Some of you may have seen her nail skit. I thought I would share some of the youtube videos. I REALLY like the fact that her comedy is clean and I find her hilarious. Here is the nail skit : hilarious (it's only 5 minutes or so) Here is one that is about an hour: funnySo what are some things you have seen lately that have made you laugh? Laughter helps heal emotionally and physically.

I got a new, brightly colored table runner. When my moose of a cat jumped up on the table for the first time after I put it down, it startled the crap out of him. He jumped straight up a foot and then fell promptly off the table.
I laughed so hard I cried. I wish I had a video to share - it was so freakin' hilarious!

My girls are having a sleepover. I giggled at the fact that my kids are teaching the other kids how to play Texas hold em. Using poker chips. And my automatic shuffler. And actual casino cards. My 11 year old is wearing a Vegas visor. I should probably clean the house for CPS tomorrow.

I REALLY like the fact that her comedy is clean and I find her hilarious. Love her! King Burger & the airplane skit are funny too. Whenever my kids do something I'm not crazy about, I yell, "Sa-cur-ah-tee!" and we all crack up. Thanks for sharing the videos.

I wish I could view but here in the country we do not have unlimited usage so I miss out on so much.
Can't do youtube anymore unless I go to the library darn it. It sounds like one I would get a kick out of....

Seen on Facebook
"When someone says to me, "I love you" but I don't really feel the same way about them, I respond, "I love U2" which is still kind of a lie because I only sorta like Bono."

I ran across a music video circa 1966 that I have never seen before.. Nancy Sinatra singing "These boots are made for walking" I remember when this song first came out. From 1966 until today I ALWAYS envisioned cowboy boots. Never crossed my mind there were possibly other types of "girl" boots. There was not a single pair of cowboy boots in the whole video.

The other night DH came in and chug-a-lugged a bubbly soft drink which gave him the burps. He went to say something to me about it but only some strange noises came out and then loudly (to counteract the burps I guess) proclaimed that he could not talk because his words were coming out in bubbles.
He did not appreciate the fact that it made me double over in laughter.

My daughter had a med checkup appointment (she has Autism). The doctor asked her how she was doing in school. She had a terrible math grade and she says My dad was like,"How the bleep did you get such a bad grade?" I mean I may be a genius in language arts, but I can't be a genius in everything!

I'm old enough to remember them, have worn them and remember when this song came out. Just growing up in Oklahoma I associated the word "boots" with cowboy boots so strongly I never really thought of go-go boots as "boots"

That's not even ok. Cowboy boots are pretty much the only type of "girl boots" you can actually walk in! I feel deceived.

Kinda lame, but:
My son turned 20 yesterday and since he's spending the summer farming, was still in the field at suppertime. We went and got Subways, took them out to the field, stuck a candle in his sandwich and sang happy birthday out there in the wheat stubble.
Then on the way home from the farm (it's dark), we're driving past a rural house and my 17 yr old lets out a big screech and breathlessly exclaims "Lights and trees and I thought I saw Jesus" and grand hilarity ensued. It took us a while to figure out that the lights going through the trees had made shadows on the side of the barn that resembled the silhouette of Christ, and not that she thought she was seeing the rapture.
ETA: And I vote that we do a thread like this once a week.

I like this song and can sometimes be persuaded to sing it at Karaoke. But NOT wearing a mini and go go boots!!!

My boss has a daughter who is mentally impaired. She is 38 but has the mentality of an 8 year old. She is the happiest girl I know and is just a doll. My boss told me that one time he took her to the doctor for her physical and the doctor asked her if she was having any problems with her BM's and she told the doctor "no, but sometimes I have to hold on to the curtains".
I laughed and laughed....
