Great job!! I don't have the patience to do that at the moment. How long does it usually take you to complete a page? I'm slow. This one took me two evenings. About 5 hours. I generally do these while I'm watching tv or while we're going somewhere out of town and dh is driving Very pretty. I've actually thought of some of your photos you've shared here that I've seen when I'm looking at books in the stores. I had to do a doubletake when I read this post, though. The first time I read it, I read that you generally do this while you are driving.

I like to color on airplanes. Recently, reading gives me motion sickness, and just sitting there staring at a seat back isn't always the best option.

I agree with all the adjectives already used to express how outstanding your creation is, Lauren. Thanks for the inspiring work, and for posting it for us to enjoy.

Sharpies and Bic Mark Its are good inexpensive options. Thank you It does depend though on what you are looking to do. These markers are opaque and make it difficult to shade. Copics and Prismacolor markers are more translucent and are easy to shade with. I'll uses Sharpies and Bics when I'm doing Mandalas and don't really care about shading but if it's scenery of a portrait, they don't work.

It's gorgeous Lauren. Do you and Jackie spend time coloring together? Yes. I've given her markers, pencils, gel pens, books and a clip board for her "very own". She loves to color and her mother has also gotten into the act.

~Lauren~ and LilyRose - those look great. I got a new book based on Debbie Macomber's books - I love all the images since they are mostly coastal scenes and have a lot of knitting/yarn pages in them too. I have been coloring this book in order. Since we are sharing....here are the first few pages that I've recently colored (all colored with Prismacolor pencils) SaveSave

All are very pretty! I love to color, sometimes I color with my sister, she lives in another state and I put on my Bluetooth and talk to her as we color!
