At the moment it's 82 degrees and 88% humidity. This is my front window this morning. Omg. I've never seen my window quite like this, even after a big rain. Seriously fall can't come soon enough. And I *like* summer. Usually.

It's ridiculous here, too. I'm about to walk my dog, and it's going to be a short walk.

My windows are the same. It did downpour last night, and I'm pretty sure all of that moisture just stuck in the air. Looks like I'm spending all day in a pool again!

I'm with you. I don't remember being such a complainer but I'm sick of summer already. I want cooler weather.

I seriously thought this was just the way it is most days in summer, at least around here My glasses fog up almost every time I go outside.

Our summer last year was icky like that. I have 100% empathy, sympathy and wishes for cool DRY weather for everyone. I was miserable last summer.
This summer we are having a very cool, dry summer. It went up to 27C one day but by evening it was cool again. This year has been inexplicably cool and I love every minute of it!

It's 71 degrees and 97% humidity. Heat index has been about 110 for at least a week with many over those days 100% humidity. I feel like the wicked witch of the west: I'm melting!

Really bad here, too. Today won't be quite at bad and Saturday and Sunday were but it's going to be hot an humid all week. I can't tolerate this kind of weather like I could when I was younger. Now I stay in the A/C unless I absolutely must go out.

It's going to be dangerously hot in the DC area today. I'm staying inside as much as possible and hiding in the AC!

I just spent 65 minutes out in this mess at 82% humidity. I am dripping. It's disgusting but I've already got 8,500 steps in for the day. I guess that's my consolation. Stay cool everyone!

That's what we've had for the past few days. It felt like I was walking outside into the inside of a baggie. This morning is better. It's getting warm but the humidity has finally broken.

It is finally raining here. Such a dry summer & we really need the rain.
Soft & gentle rain. The grass is crunchy & the farmers need the rain for their crops. Temps are 23C. Last week temps were 28 - 35 +humidity = yuck.

I keep seeing promos for this show called "Wrecked" about people stranded on a tropical island, and one of the characters complains, "It feels like a hot fart all the time!" Makes me laugh because that's exactly how it feels and smells here in swampy coastal VA.

Well according to the weather map in our paper this morning you're going to have to go at least as far north as Canada to escape the heat.

We were blessed with a relatively cool June but July ushered summer in with a vengeance. Stay in the shade, drink plenty of liquids, and pray that everyone's AC holds out til Fall!

I seriously thought this was just the way it is most days in summer, at least around here My glasses fog up almost every time I go outside. Yup, same here. I wake up every morning thinking it's overcast outside, but no, it's just the condensation on the windows making it dim. I told DH just that I am DONE with this summer. Too hot to live.

I do not like humidity. I live on the west coast, so we don't get it that often. However, I do live inland and are finally starting a cool down. We've been over 100 degrees for about 5 days. I think the high today is 99 degrees. My air conditioner needs a break. It has been going on even in the middle of the night! Yesterday, before 10 a.m. we had to close everything up and start the a/c.

I never complain in the winter, even if we get feet of snow and it's 10 degrees. I will take that over oppressive humidity any day!!

Gross! It's never particularly humid here. It's not dry like Arizona or anything either but we don't have anything like that here at all. When I was in college in Minnesota, the humidity was harder for me to handle than the subzero temperatures.
We are the one little pocket of the country that's not sweltering, I think. It's supposed to be about 86 here today, which is definitely hotter than usual for the Portland area, but totally manageable. We have not had much of a summer so far, so this heat is actually welcome here.

And I *like* summer. Usually. I am in Texas and my windows look like that every morning from June -September. We are in the high 90's right now with usually 90-100% humidity. I love the summer but would love a little cool front to cool things off for a few days although that won't happen for several months I'm sure.

My patio door looked the same this morning. The weather folks claim that the humidity is supposed to drop today. I'll believe it when I see it. We were on vacation in NC last week. It was cooler and more comfortable there than it was back home. Our temps are supposed to drop later this week. Fingers crossed for that. FIL and his wife are coming in from NJ for the weekend and we're supposed to hit the Tall Ship Festival. I can't do crowds and 90+. Insta-bitch.

It has been in the 90s with 100+ heat index for nearly a week. I am not sick of summer, since I HATE winter, but I am over the humidity.
