Congratulations to you both! I love all of the photos so much! You are such a beautiful bride! I love your dress and I don't think you could've pick a more beautiful location on the entire earth. I've always wanted to go to Fiji but haven't managed to get there yet. It always looks so gorgeous! Would you recommend it for a 25th anniversary? I wish you all of the best and many more years of love and happiness to you both!

I wish you all of the best and many more years of love and happiness to you both! Thank you for your lovely comments! YES, it is the perfect place for a 25th anniversary. We are going to go each year now to celebrate ours. Look up the Warwick Fiji. We actually spent 3 days at a more expensive hotel this time - The Intercontinental Golf resort and discovered that although it was new and stunning we would not go there again. Very impersonal and people staying there not very friendly. The Warwick is older, but has real Fijian character, staff are amazing and we met so many lovely people who we are now friends with through Facebook! One of the things we love most is that wherever you stay in the hotel you are less than 5 minutes from pools, beach or any of the 5 restaurants! It is family friendly, however they have recently made one of the pools Adults only(with it's own private little poolside café) as well as a wing of the hotel, a restaurant for breakfast and a section of the beach. I'm a teacher so I like children and we took our grandson with us the previous 3 times, but I must admit the AO sections were very relaxing! It is down on the Coral Coast so a 2 hr drive from Nadi BUT well worth it. All the hotels near Denaru are the really big ones and they are built on reclaimed land so really not anywhere as nice as the older ones in our opinion. Also check out reviews on Trip Advisor. Corinne Thanks Corinne so much for taking the time to answer my questions. I didn't want to butt in on your wedding congratulations but it is very true that I've always wanted to go to Fiji. We couldn't get away for our 20th anniversary so we are looking for something very special for our 25th. We just celebrated our 21st last week. We are snorkeling fanatics. I can dive down pretty far just holding my breath and seeing fish and coral that way. I've tried doing scuba twice but I have a phobia about the tank breathing for me-so I'd rather just free dive. I'd love to find a place we can snorkel off the beaches. I'm not much for pools, not with the incredible crystal blue waters right there-I'd be in that ocean from sun up to sun down We are nature lovers and don't give a fig about shopping, drinking, gambling,or that sort of thing. I also don't really care for resorts. Everything is much too polished-you can be anywhere in the world when you stay in a resort-do you know what I mean-it's all so generic. We prefer smaller places, the more native feeling the better. But clean is a must. Checking out the Warwick now. Isn't airfare crazy expensive?

Corinne Corrine-I just checked the flights. I'm afraid it's impossible for us. It a 28-40 hour flight one way to Fiji from Baltimore MD, or Washington DC to Fiji. Perhaps you live closer like in Australia? DH has such little vacation time that it makes no sense to spend that much time in the air. We can't get a 28 hour flight there and a 28 hour flight back. It would be a 28 hour flight there and a 40 hour flight back. I will get there one day! I am determined! Even if I have to sail there myself one day. Thanks so much for your advice, and I'm thrilled you got to have your wedding there. DH eloped to Jamaica and got married on the beach with just the two of us 21 years ago and then had our honeymoon there at the resort. They did a beautiful job for us too. Congratulations once again. I'm so happy for both of you!

I'm so happy for both of you! Oh my goodness! That is a long flight time! Yes I am in Australia- We fly to Brisbane, 2-3 hrs, then a 3.4 flight to Fiji. We thought it was a long flight when we flew 10 hrs to Hawaii!! We have looked into going to Belize and Mauritius and yes, the flight times are too long. I guess we should all be lucky that there are such a lot of different tropical places in the world that we CAN visit! Corinne
