I finished The Royal We by Heather Cocks. It was cute, but kinda draggy in parts. I was a little disappointed with the way it was ended. Now I'm reading The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman.

I read The Butterfly Garden by Dot Hutchison for my book club. This book was seriously creepy. It's about a group of girls that have been kidnapped and then tattooed with butterfly wings. The story was told in a very unique way. I felt the ending was a little flat. I expected a twist, but it was pretty straight forward.
I also read The Things We Wish Were True by Marybeth Mayhew Whalen. This was one of the kindle first picks for August. It's a story about a group of neighbors that takes place during the summer. Lots of good twists and turns. I absolutely loved it. It reminded me of a Liane Moriarty book.

I'm reading Amy Schumer's The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo.
It's what you'd expect from her---fun, bawdy, lots of laughs. I've always thought she had some harder edges than some of the other female comedians who've done memoirs recently, and that's explained a bit as she opens up about how she grew up, etc. I'm enjoying it very much.

Lots of good twists and turns. I absolutely loved it. It reminded me of a Liane Moriarty book. This sounds really good! I just added it to my Goodreads "To Read" list and noticed there is a giveaway that ends tomorrow so, why not?! I finished up All The Missing Girls by Megan Miranda last week. It was good. Somewhere between 3.5-4 stars. The title is a little misleading. "ALL" the girls sounds like way more than two. I am about 30% into The Last Anniversary by Liane Moriarty. So far, so good. I am going to be pausing this momentarily to read The Red Kayak by Priscilla Cummings. It's young adult and my daughter is reading it for school, so I got her the paper copy and I am going to read myself using my Kindle app. It sounded pretty interesting. SaveSave
