For me it was hot dogs on a camping trip about 20 years ago (and we were in a tent). I spent a long cold night in the campground bathroom. It was awful. I just can't get near hot dogs again.

We had a stomach bug ravage our house in May. My dd had a hotdog the day before she got sick. She said she didn't throw up the hotdog but she burped it all the next day after throwing up. Looking at a hot dog will make her gag still. LOL

The cold chicken was a drumstick - I have a hard time even eating those hot now, let alone cold. ok that makes me sad, because cold chicken on the bone is the bomb diggity. My dh agrees. His favorite is cold chinese chicken wings. I shudder at the thought of eating one.

Blueberry topping on some kind of cheesecake dessert. My brother and I both got sick after eating it. We only had one toilet.
If you've seen the movie "Bridesmaids," you can picture the scene.

A Big Ed burrito. It took me over a decade to revisit a regular burrito.

The only thing that comes to mind is that I cannot eat anything with any alcohol, even the supposedly cooked off alcohol. I do not have an enzyme that breaks down alcohol so I get an almost immediate pounding head and vomiting, like a huge hangover.

I won't be able to eat the item in question any time in the near future (honestly, it is usually a few years...) but I have certainly started eating the foods again. I can't think of anything that has made me sick in the past (Taco Bell taco salad while pregnant, baked pork chop w/ sauerkraut from the German restaurant, Trader Joe's apple chicken sausage) that I haven't started eating again.

Sushi and saki combo, no more.

Does MD20/20 that I drank as a teenager count? ETA DD was 8-10 on Christmas when she (and I) had the worst case of a stomach bug ever. Right after we made and she consumed gingerbread men. Never again will she touch the stuff. And being the "best mom in the whole wide world" that I am, every year at Xmas she gets a gingerbread man ornament, pillow, cookie cutter or something to commemorate the event. Good thing she loves me.

For me it was hot dogs and peach cobbler when I was a child. I can eat hot dogs if I have chili on it but peach cobbler is still not my favorite.

Sprouts. I once got sick after eating sprouts, and i can't really stomach them anymore. I think i was around 9 years old and honestly, I've only thrown up a handful of times in my 36.5 years, so they are fairly traumatic memories.

I had a dish from a Chinese restaurant back in the 1980's that had scallops in it and I didn't even make it all the way home before I had to pull over and puke on the side of the road. I haven't touched scallops since although before I became a vegan I loved all kinds of seafood. 3 years ago I very reluctantly tried them at my parent's house because that is what they were serving for dinner. They were okay, but I still had that kind of queasy feeling (I'm sure it was all in my head).

Honey Nut Cheerios
They were one of the few foods that settled my stomach (momentarily) when I was pregnant with DD 11 years ago. I threw them up so much that I still can't even stand the smell.

Chicken tortilla soup from Chili's while pregnant has forever been seared into my brain as no way in hell should it be eaten.
And screwdrivers but for obvious copious amounts consumed.

Corn dogs made my stomach flip and I ate Dum Dums right before I gave birth and puked. I can eat Dum Dums again, but the corn dog is a no go.

Nerdy fact: this phenomenon is called a "learned taste aversion." It is actually a good thing in terms of evolution - it allows animals with a strong sense of learned aversions to survive by avoiding things that are poisonous to them.
It is also why it is difficult to successfully get rid of mice and rats by using only one type of poison. Those mice and rats that survive will never touch that particular poison again.
for me: it is tequila. 34 years later and I still can't stand the smell of it.

There are some foods I just won't eat if they smell wrong - having learned the hard way. But if they smell fine, I'll eat them.
That strategy has worked very well for me.

I have never liked kielbasa but I would eat it if I had to. When I was in college, a group of us took turns making dinner and one of the girls made kielbasa one night. I got so sick from it that I haven't eaten it since (30+ years) except for a tiny bite of some my brother made at Christmas one year. Nope, still nasty. Won't ever eat it again.

I used to make a baked pork chop dish when DH and I were first married. We loved it. I got violently sick after eating it when I was pg with DS, who is now 21. Haven't eaten a pork chop since. I will cook them for DH but won't touch them myself.
