Without having taken the test yet, I'm going to bet on a very old, very fat dachshund.

I guess I'm not a huge Harry Potter fan, I don't want to join Pottermore to find out my patronus..

white swan here -I'm happy with that!
my older dd is a beagle - which ties in with a family memory/story from my childhood about my dad (her grandfather - she never met) so she's happy too

Nightjar...which I feel is a perfect match. It's a nocturnal bird. It would have to be considering my sleeping habits and my love for birds. While taking the test I was thinking it would be a load of rubbish if it turned out to be anything other than a bird.

Mine is a blackbird. I'm not really surprised I got a bird (I've always liked little birds for some reason!) but I was surprised I got a blackbird. I had to redo the quiz a couple of times though because I kept taking too long! I like being able to think about my answers!

Without having taken the test yet, I'm going to bet on a very old, very fat dachshund. Which undoubtedly assures that you will be the elusive and noble Stag. LOL, turned out to be an otter. Wasn't that Hermione's Patronus, too? But I have to admit, I answered the questions carelessly. I don't like to be rushed.
