 And today we are celebrating!!! Here is a photo of the pendant he gave me this morning. And it was no surprise. I bought the stone and had it custom mounted. The little diamond in the bail is from the pendant he gave me on our wedding night. That pendant was a surprise, and I've love it. But, it was so small that I seldom wore it. (I hope I don't sound too "shallow", but it was really child-size.) Anyhow, I asked him if he was comfortable with putting the diamond in the bail of this one, and he said "Sure, go ahead." So I have a little treasure from our wedding night included in the pendant that marks our years together. I have been so blessed by his love. I just had to share my joy with y'all. Sorry the photo is not posting. I'll keep trying!! |

How lovely. I like that you combined something you picked out (the blue stone) and something he picked out to mark your 55 years together. The chain is also very pretty. I didn't know the bracket piece was called a "bail". Sometimes those are so plain and yet yours is very special.
