Endometrial implants can show up in strange places after surgery too That would be reportable if both ovaries were removed and super unlikely if there was no evidence at the time of the original surgery. Stranger things have happened. I am aware of a vaginal cuff pregnancy! (For those not in the field, this is an ectopic, not viable). We recently had a large endometrioma in a c-section scar. Weird stuff!

Just went in and got ultrasound results which were inclusive. Did another exam which shows the area is slightly bleeding and approximately 7-8 mm. Painful to touch with a q-tip. She offered to do a biopsy but I said no because I was in pain already. Her recommendation stands for surgery to remove. She uses a camera thru belly button to check around cuff area and remove the lesion vaginally. Sigh.

I am glad some answers are there, but sad for you that surgery is in your future. With the pain, it sounds like something has an infection.
Wishing you well.

The good news is you won't feel a thing during surgery . Anesthesias after effects will probably be the worst pet for you. Prayers for an easy recovery for you!

SallyPA: indeed that is the worst part! This should be a super easy procedure or at least I keep telling myself that. Thanks for the prayers!
