How do you shop for scrapbook supplies?
Do you get a little something every week?
Or do you wait a few months, then get a whole lot of things?
Or are you somewhere in between?
I think I'm somewhere in between. If I see something scrappy that I know I just love, and it is inexpensive (under $5, like a sticker pack) then I just grab it.
But every so often I just feel the need to replenish, and I go buy five paper pads at one time. Or several packs of cardstock. And some adhesive. And a die or two. And stamps. And......
What kind of shopper are you?

Haha I'm a crazy shopper. I go through stages of not buying for months and then buying up everything in sight! Not sure what kind of shopper that makes me!

How much I buy totally depends on my mood. Some days I want everything in the store. Other days I can't seem to find anything I like enough to buy.
I don't live near any craft stores. Go to a small city with a LSS and a michaels about once a month, so get most of my scrappy supplies when I am there. And if I am in a shopping mood that day, I could come home with a lot of scrappiness!

I'm definitely more of a "bits and pieces" person, especially as I've gotten more selective over the years about what I buy. Now when I purchase, it's usually 1-3 specific items that I've been hunting for online, or something small I needed from HL, like adhesive. The only time I really binge buy these days is when I can get to a good LSS (closest one is an hour away). Now back in my early days, I would sweep through the Jolee's section at HL like a hurricane about once a week!

I am a binge shopper. I'll go nuts with several orders and then regain my sanity. Then I will not buy anything, except adhesive, for months.

binges, I guess.
I'll pick up one or two items here and there - usually for something specific - but once or twice a year, I'll do a bit more shopping and pick up several paper packs and various bits nd pieces that catch my eye

I used to buy a couple of big orders per season from ACOT and now hardly ever at all.
I was at a crop in September and I bought a couple of ink pads because the one I had had dried up.
I have to work on downsizing and not buying. There are just times when there are things I need, though. I run with it then!

I was merrily just receiving my kit club supplies every month. However, the steals sites and enablers on this board got me and I have been binge buying. Lol. Actually I recognize it as a sign of stress. Anyway - My goal going forward is to stick to my kit club and lawn fawn. I already unsubscribed from the steal emails and I am working on the cause of my stress. Therapy session over.

Bits and pieces mostly. I have one (small) monthly kit subscription but otherwise I'm really trying to downsize and use my stash. I've bought a few small things lately but I'm guilty of loading up an online cart and not pulling the trigger (if virtual shopping like this counts then I'm a binger for sure!)

binge buying. Lol. Actually I recognize it as a sign of stress. I binge shop when I'm very stressed too. It's like I want to surround myself with something pretty that's all mine and just for me to enjoy.

If I am placing on online order I'm definitely a binge shopper cause I wanna feel like I got my moneys worth to justify the shipping.
If, and that's a big IF, the local Michaels, Joanns, or Hobby Lobby have things I want, then it's bits and pieces cause I wait for sales and use coupons.

I go for long stretches with buying nothing. I usually buy for my birthday or Christmas.
In between, there's the occasional purchases of printed photos and page protectors. Coupons are usually for adhesives in the craft stores. I do browse the aisles of the store to see if I can find some deals and generally spend below $20.00.

I'm definitely a binge shopper. Most of my scrap shopping is online and I will place big orders 3-4 times a year. Sometimes I will pick up something at Michael's or Tuesday Morning if I find something I love. Usually it's just adhesive at Michael's with a coupon.

Kinda depends on my mood.

I used to be a regular shopper. Now most things have closed near me, so I buy online. That means stocking up on a few things to make shipping worthwhile.

I used to buy a few times a year in a large amount from an online vendor and from the local M's & J's every week. There really isn't that much locally that I have to have, but if I go in to look, I think I need to get something. To curb that I subscribed to a kit club. Now I only go in locally if I need something. Then the enabler threads went crazy here and so did I. Then I decided I'd be good. But I had all these swaps and well, "it" (insert item I thought I needed) would just make my "insert swap name here" so much better. So the last couple of weeks have led to some more purchases. I still have one more swap left which I have to order paper for so I'll probably make a larger order for ACOT or SB.com. Then I hope to be a good little girl..... until someone posts another enabler thread. ha.

I have plenty of stuff in my stash but every few months I like to pick up a few new things to get my mojo going. Usually it's just a couple of embellishments or maybe some new paper. But every once in a while you gotta binge. I just bought a few new dies for my Big Shot and I'm planning to go to the scrapbook expo this weekend to maybe pick up a couple of things. Then it's back in the freezer until the spring thaw.

Definitely bits and pieces. I like getting my little crafting treasures every week. I have something new to play will all week long.
I don't live near Michael's any more so when I go there I give myself some leeway to do some binge shopping. I don't really like to binge shop because I have a lot of guilt afterward.

I don't have any local stores so I tend to binge shop now to make the shipping worth it. Also, I blame all the enabling threads for making me think I needed so many things which are all lovely but barely fit in my space. Our big box store carries largely AC and Kaisercraft but can be very hit and miss with what they get but I do occasionally pick things up when I want a little happy shopping on a smaller scale.

The items I have been looking for I can't find at the big box stores so I do a little each week depending when/where I find the best sale/no shipping deals. I refuse to ever pay full price for an item or on shipping than absolutely necessary. Oh how I miss the scrapbooking glory days!

Planner stuff I get some new things every month. Sometimes it's a new planner, or an order of stickers or if my friend does a release of her stamps I might get a few sets. I love getting new planners because I get bored with what I am using. The one I am in now I quite like and the leather is super soft. I really like it a lot. I also get new monthly inserts for my planner every month. I don't have to do that but I really like ordering paper in a kit format if I like the papers and die cuts used.

I normally do an order a month, to justify the postage (no scrappy shops near me). If I need something mid-month and I can get it via Amazon Prime though I do, as I won't be paying £4 postage for a 50p item. I buy all of my adhesives through Amazon Prime. I've found the prices to be very competitive and I don't throw extra stuff in my order to get free shipping.
