So, I did a little searching and it appears Over the River and through the Wood is a Thanksgiving song and Over the River and Through the Wood (s) is Christmas!

My husband and boys are traveling to Lincoln tomorrow to see the football game. Three days of quiet, no sports, and no one to ask what is for dinner.

Patter It is a Christmas song! We used to sing it when we would drive to my grandparents house on Christmas Day. Yes, that version is a Christmas song. But the one I posted is the Thanksgiving version.

Something that makes me ridiculously happy:
I had a family portrait taken this summer, with me & all my kids in it. First ever.
They were not keen on it, but I promised McDonald's afterward.
I even coordinated our clothes to be in the same color families.
Every time I look at it, I smile.

I set up the tripod, and we are very happy with the photos. The kids didn't want to do it either. But it sure means a lot to a mama, doesn't it? Glad you got one. It should make you smile!!!

My husband leaves for work at about six thirty in the morning, before he goes he comes in to the bedroom and spends a few minutes with my sleepy self. It makes me ridiculously happy that he does this. We talk (I have no idea what we talk about!) he kisses me, tells me he loves me, makes sure my feet are under the duvet and goes off for the day So pleased to see this! Hopefully you are starting to relax and feel less stressed. Hearing the 2DGDs giggling or having them run towards me with their arms outstretched makes me happy. Or doing anything for them that I know they will be excited about. I suppose that applies to doing anything nice for anyone but those two little munchkins take happiness to a whole new level.

For me, it would be the fact that after 5 days on the market, I think I have sold my house. The offer is a little more than what I thought my bottom line was (after all the concessions it will be only 5k less than the list price.)

I love to do jigsaw puzzles, so of course people are always giving me jigsaw puzzles, either new or ones that they have already done which is lovely. But it really bums me out when I am almost finished with a puzzle and I realize there are one or more pieces missing. It happens often with the used puzzles, and more often than you would think with new puzzles considering the two furry bastards (cats) that live in my house and love to mess with the pieces. Last night I was just finishing up a beautiful puzzle that i bought new, and sure enough there was a piece smack in the middle that was clearly not there. So I finished up and looked sadly down at my flawed masterpiece. Then I opened the box to dismantle it and put it all back in, and lo and behold, there was the missing piece, stuck in the plastic bag that it came in. A super silly little thing that made me really happy.
