I'm always amazed when companies make such ridiculous decisions! You don't mess with an icon. They should have made the bar and packaging smaller.
I love the people blaming it on Brexit - funny!

I can't read the weight in any of those 'new' pictures. Is it just a way to make people pay for less chocolate? Corporate packaging shenanigans?

All I can say is messing with a girl's chocolate is really, really bad plan.

It's very serious ladies........hands off our chocolate Mondelez need to stop interfering with our chocolate....I think we should organize a protest ......they've changed the taste of our creme eggs, the shape of our dairy milk bars and now they're decimating our Toblerone!!!

First they changed the shape of Terrys Oranges and I have barely recovered from that disaster and now THIS. We need a Government Minister for protection of our chocolate. Form an orderly line with your CVs for an interview first thing on Monday.

That is bizarre! They look like safety cones now. You know, sometimes I wish companies would just let us pay a bit more for the product instead of messing with it.
I have been noticing that more and more chocolate candy doesn't even taste good to me anymore because the companies are futzing with the ingredients to avoid charging a few more cents.

All of this! Just have me pay a bit more and let me eat the chocolate I know & love.

Poor Toblerone he look ridiculous like that but it will make braking a piece off easier....I have big thumb don't judge Do you break it off by trying to pry it apart or by pushing the outside piece towards the rest of the bar? Pushing the tip of the triangle towards the bar makes it snap easily.

Oh my goodness, what a bad idea. Why not just raise the price? Cuz they're trying to get away w/a price increase w/o calling it a price increase. Slimy. Just freaking raise the price and be honest that ingredient costs are rising. But no, choose the slimy way. Companies in the US do this all the time too. A 12 oz box of grains magically becomes a 10 oz box, but hey, "no price increase! Woot!"

Pushing the tips together doesn`t seem to work with the new bar...it`s just so wrong. grinningcat, Terrys Oranges have a lovely pattern on their slimmer slices now. Any flaming excuse for a rip off thinking the public won`t notice. Sorry got a grump on today, must need some chocolate. lol

I have to admit - I've never had a Toblerone bar. What am I missing? Is it pure chocolate or does it contain other ingredients?

Did they not learn anything from the Coke/New Coke fiasco? Don't mess with success. But yeah, I'm guessing it's a trying to disguise a downsizing thing.
