My birthday is at the end of the month and I have to come up with something for it first. DS is going to want to get me something, and my dad will, too. If I say, "nothing" it will make people unhappy. Then to have the holidays less than a month away.
There is a perfume I like at Sephora so I may ask for that.
Guerlain makes a very cool sparkly mist you can wear. I might ask for that. (You can see I am grasping at straws here).
There is a pretty ring at Pandora that I have liked for a while so I could potentially get that. It is easy and all. DS could get me that. I would really like that more than a charm or two.
Or I could ask for nothing. It won't bring my mom nor my sister back and nothing seems to matter anymore.

I currently don't really want anything. We are in our 40d and don't have kids, and it looks like we won't. DH and I buy for ourselves all year long. We recently each bought a smart watch - me an Apple Watch and him a Fossil one. We decided earlier this year that on/around our birthday and Christmas we'll go out to eat and buy another table their meal as well.

We were married right after college graduation and so my wedding ring diamond was quite modest. I then inherited much of my mom's jewelry. My dad was pretty thrifty, but he always had nice jewelry made for my mom. I told my husband I would like an upgrade for my diamond. Our anniversary is in February and we will have been married 30 years. I say I earned it.

There are lots of beautiful enameled cast iron Dutch ovens that don't cost 300 bucks. The one I wanted was by lodge, but since it wasn't sold at Macy's, mil bought me a Martha Stewart one, which is just fine, too!

Did you know they make lenses that attach to your iPhone? I would like a zoom lens for my iPhone 7.
Dd asked what I would like and I keep tossing her ideas but they all did such a good job last year. I would like a pandora charm or the Alex and ani style bangle bracelet, I said something that means something when you think of me. She said "that would have been really nice if I thought of it myself."

We're going away for Christmas. My 21-year-old DD and I will go to Costa Rica for a week and then travel to Nicaragua where we're meeting my husband and 17-year-old DS for two weeks. We love to travel as a family but my cancer diagnosis has made me very nervous about it. My Christmas wish is to have a fabulously wonderful trip with my family and not to worry about my health while I'm away.

Good question. My son, DIL, and grandkids will spoil me but they can't afford anything pricey. My late husband was the generous gift giver. Before I was married I always bought myself something I really wanted like jewelry, luggage, etc. I even bought myself a sports car for my 40th birthday. Now, I have everything I need.

My co-worker to find happiness! She is a bitter person that complains incessantly and it drives me nuts.
But reality, I would like books, earbuds and a warm cozy couch blanket that the kid doesn't take.

My parents insist on the gift swap even though we just pick things out, often order them ourselves and then swap money. This year I'm getting a Breville Pro countertop oven.
DH and I don't exchange gifts. I usually get myself something but I haven't thought of anything else I'd like so far.

Any of these things would make me very happy:
- Vintage formula .25 oz bottle of Opium, Samsara, or Fendi parfum. - Enough of a particular yarn I want to crochet a cardigan with. - Custom cut linen dress and jacket to accommodate my height. - Comfortable office appropriate pairs of black and brown leather flats.

Not much on my list this year except for my dog to wallk again. He's getting better but trying to get his legs going again. Otherwise maybe a mini ipad since my Kindle died.

A new computer or a new iPad mini. I also wouldn't mind a heat press to make fun stuff with my silhouette, but that's probably a little more impractical since I don't have much time to craft. They just look like they would be handy and I can dream that having one would motivate me to craft more.

I got some a few years ago and they were fun but I don't use them anymore because you have to take your cover off of your phone and that's too big of a pain with my new phone. Just a heads up if your case is a big of a pain as mine is. They worked well the set I had was macro, wide angle and telephoto I believe.
