Who is the Alaskan pea? I got no spreadsheets. What am I missing?! Well, I'm going to assume it's putabuttononit, but I'm not sure. Just like I'm not sure who the OP is, but she feels quite familiar, like an old sock. I have my thoughts on that but speculating without proof is a waste of time. DEX OBVIOUSLY she's not new here, what new person makes up an ID on this forum just to ask about butter and talk about Alaskan peas? What?!!! I missed a thread about butter?

I admit to not watching the whole video, so can someone fill me in on what set her off? What was the "discrimination" she experienced? I honestly wonder if she would have stopped and gone on her way if there wasn't an audience and people obviously filming her. Apparently she was purchasing things that needed a large bag and they were out of large bags. They told her that she could purchase a big Michael's bag, which costs a buck or two, and that set her off. Not certain where the discrimination came in. The manager asked her to leave because of her behavior so she may think that is discrimination. Corporate says that their staff handled it correctly. In my opinion, the manager should not have continued to argue with her, she should have simply told her to leave and not come back. Save

Oh, and to answer your question OP, it wasn't me. She didn't use nearly enough cuss words to be me.

Can you imagine what that 911 operator must of been thinking? She called the POLICE because everybody was "ganging up" on her. She called the police because the Michael's employees were making her buy a bag. that, my friends, is what entitled looks like.

Definitely something off with her. katybee I can't imagine what the poor 911 operator was thinking as she tried to figure out what crime was being committed and if the woman was in danger.

OP, you're rudely unpleasant and unpleasantly rude. I had no idea that Michael's managers and cashiers were a bunch of liberals. The things i learn here. 😂 Well, Trump got 11.58% of the vote in that neighborhood. I'm actually surprised it was that high. So, either the employees live in the neighborhood or liberalism is a potent contagion when working retail. The Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago is also known as BoysTown. There is a large gay population there. My dd lived there and it is a great neighborhood (besides an obvious few), filled with many 20-40 yos and young families. Yes, I'm surprised it was that high also.

She treated the staff abominably! Apparently she also did something similar at a Marshall's and a Peet's Coffee (that one is circulating online too). Amazingly, she was apparently in the HR department of a hospital. Her name is out there online, so I'm sure she's probably getting a lot of negative comments directed her way.
I also would have been concerned if I had my kids with me. I am glad a lot of other customers stood by the manager and clerk.

Saw this on TV last night. The person who posted it on youtube started a go fund me for a gift card (looking for $400 - at the time of report it was over $20,000). Only paying half attention I didn't hear what or who the gift card was for? Anyone know? The video made me sad because I have a mentally ill daughter and that could have easily been her off her meds. I applaud the employees that handled it so well. They must have experience with this to not react the way most would.

As far as I could make out, the store didn't have a bag large enough for her purchase. And, she started without an audience - or they wouldn't have started filming in the first place.

So I read the comments under the article. Some poor lawyer in Chicago has a wife named Jennifer Boyle and he was getting inundated with mail from people ragging on his wife. Sadly, not the same woman. People are nuts.
