I thought you were asking about a sweater to wear to keep yourself warm if your shoulders WERE cold, but wanted to avoid looking 'old' in it-- haha!! But that's because I am pretty much always cold, and could never wear a style like that.

I had The Voice on last night and, while I wasn't sitting down and watching, during one of my trips past the TV, I could have sworn Dolly Parton had one on. And she's what, 70? If you like it, go for it.

Not my favourite look, regardless of age.

If you like it and it makes you feel good, wear it! The older I get, the less I care about what other people think about my style. It's so freeing! Get a good strapless bra and go with your own bad self

If you like it, wear it. Personally, it's not something I'd wear because I'm always cold and expose as little skin as possible during colder months. Also, for me it falls into one of those hideous fashion fads that needs to die. One of those fads, where in 20 years you look back at a photo of yourself wearing it and think "WTH was I thinking when I wore that???" Sort of like those 1970's bell bottom hip huggers with the back of the leg split to your butt and laced back down to the knee...BTDT.
