The Cricut Cartridge "Quarter Note" was suppose to go under the tree but I kind of needed it for Christmas presents. Got a few small things in my stocking.

I gave my dh a list of things to choose a couple from. I received the WRMK's staple board and frame punch board and a mold for clay. Then he surprised me with a 3-D printer. He thinks I can use it to make scrapbook embellishments. I'm a bit intimidated by the thing to tell the truth, but also can't wait to master it, as it was such a sweet thing for him to do. pancakes , yay for a Canon Pixma. From all my research they're the best. For the win! You'll have to keep us posted as to what you can make with it. I'm so jealous! Definitely! I can't believe he 1) thought of it and 2) bought it even doing research as to which one to buy.

I think that would be so cool!

Oh my yes!! I know it didn't get a high "pea approval" rating but I have wanted a typewriter for ages and have never found a good working used one. DD & DS spoiled me rotten and got me the black WRMK typewriter. I cried! This is so sweet. You know you did good when you make your mom cry. Every time you look at it, you will think of them.

I kind of did. My hubby surprised me with a new laptop computer and my DD gave me a printer to go with it. I was very surprised because I never mentioned wanting or needing one!

Nope but I bought myself a few of the sale Christmas shapes in the Silhouette store and placed a scrapbook.com order for some Christmas paper and embellishments. I bought my scrappy friend a We R mini alphabet punch board and I really want one for myself too!

I found a QK die in my stocking (one I'll actually use) and DH re-gifted me the $100 Hobby Lobby GC he won in the work raffle - our HL should be opening in the next couple of months...so I'll need to get scrapping in January so I can justify shopping when it does

I gave my husband a list from STAMPIN UP, and he told my daughters to buy what they wanted from it, and he bought all of the rest of it. A great Christmas--everything fit and no returns. He bought enough stuff that I got almost $200 in freebies! Wonderful family I have😘😘

No scrappy stuff I did get a gc from Michaels.
I've seen lots of ppl post on FB scrappy gifts they got. I'm sceptic of it personally. I think they gave pretty detailed wish lists because I doubt most SO or kids even know what half the stuff is they bought.
Personally I'd rather get money or just buy my own stuff.

I suspect that in most cases, you're correct OR they purchased their own stuff and just wrapped it and put it under the tree. In a few cases? yeah, the DH or kid might have picked it out but those are few and far between (and I have a DH and a DS who are both comfortable in Joanns, Michaels, Hobby Lobby and the LSS....and I've sent them to pick out stuff for me before when I wasn't able to go myself...they still wouldn't buy me scrappy gifts for the most part)

My hubby knows my craft well and has gotten me lots of cool things over the years. (though this year I did my own shopping because at work they are down 2 people and he is over worked). My kids pay enough attention for my love of chocolate that they both got me chocolate turtles.

Yes! My mom gave me five of the new Papertrey Ink colors (ink and cardstock), plus the PTI Make it Market: Don't Forget to Write kit. She also stuck a Mini Misti in my stocking. Yay!
My boyfriend gave me a big gift bag with Hero Arts stamps and inks, some K & Company die cuts, and Ranger/Tim Holtz die cuts. I'm on vacation for the next week but I can't wait to get home and play with my new supplies!

I also got a set of Gelatos, Tim Holtz' 3rd book and a carrying bag/case for my Silhouette. Thanks daughter..... er, Santa!!!

Yes!! Hubby got me a few things, including the Pinkfresh Studio grab box that I decided not to buy for myself!! My favorite thing from that was the tile alpha...I didn't realize until I was putting it all away on Tuesday that it came with a die! I can't wait to use with my MISTI. He also got me the Ton grand bow layering stamp set. I think I asked for the wrong one (I think I wanted holiday bows), but it's cool, I like this one too and it's my first real layering stamp set. I'll just ask for the other one for next year or for my birthday. He also got me the birch stamp set that I asked for from Concord & 9th. Then, holding onto it from when he bought it allllll the way back in January, he got me the Studio Calico Mega Date Stamp. I'm just amazed at how long he was able to keep that a secret! <3

The others I mentioned wanting but the sc stamp was too expensive and I said I needed to stop buying grab boxes.

I didn't post anything on FB, but honestly...Does it matter? My husband's side of the family asks for a wishlist because otherwise they would be terrible gift givers. Also, a lot of people are happy to give gifts but are less willing to give money because of the impersonal nature or wanting to afford a gift that's less expensive that you'll be guaranteed to like. It's just like a wedding registry.

I am so mind-boggled that I am way out of my league. What a cool gift!

I actually prefer to not get scrappy presents just because I have so much stuff and it's hard for others to know a scrappers style unless they use a specific list or also scrapbook. None of my family goes to LSSs or shops scrappy online stores. So most of my gifts come from WM or Michael's. This year dh did pick some things I had on my Amazon wish list which was nice. So I got some random things like adhesive sheets, a new eraser, etc
